watch mpls: April 2011
http://watchmpls.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 29, 2011. My mspiff picks: weekend of apr 29. Only one more week to go folks. If you've been putting off the festival, now's your last chance. Go now before it's too late! Top Pick - The Arbor. This pick is a bit of a gamble (oh wait, all my past picks were gambles as I never saw any of them beforehand). It's especially true this time around as this is by a newcomer, and also features a style of performance called verbatim theater. A form of documentary theatre. Also, there's a Godard.

Twin Cities Film Geek Galore. Sunday, March 17, 2013. Linkdom Hearts: Dream Eaters and Nobodies. We'll see what that title does to my stats and comments. Other than eating bon bons, shoveling snow and getting laid off, here's some other stuff I've done:. On In Review Online. The other Jessica Chastain film that was kicking around earlier this year about two creepy little kids. If you missed it, you didn't miss much. Out on DVD and on various streaming sites in May. Sep 9th, 2011. Been meaning to recount this scene of rare and wonderful awesome dorkitude on my part. Scene: Elevator, end of day when people are leaving work. Players: Me and a few co-workers. Co-worker: "So, did you win any battles today? Me: Thinking, hemming and hawing, then smiling, "No, because the only way to win is not to play.". All: Awe at my rocking and appropriate War Games reference. And yes, I know that's not an exact quote from the movie, but it was good enough for the elevator crowd.).

Here is an interview. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 11/9@ 4 pm Andy Sturdevant and Carrie Elizabeth Thompson lead a walking tour in St. A...
