Not only did my son who suffers with Cystic Fibrosis receive a Wish of a lifetime but my family and myself as well, as I too suffer from CF. Jason had sooo much fun that he can't wait to go to school to share all of the memories. We just want to thank you for this once in a lifetime experience for our family. The 2nd Annual Longport Take A Breather 5k Run. Is a race for runners looking for something slightly different from the traditional road race. It is a 5k Out and Back on the beach and occurs when the tide is low, which means you will not be running on soft sand, but on hard packed sand similar to a dirt trail. CASH PRIZES awarded to the top 3 Male and Female Finishers. Medals awarded to top Male and Female age group winners. 5k out-and-back course on hard packed sand. Low tide is 5:05pm.

None of us will ever forget this magical trip to Disney where we we're able to take a breather from CF! My son said he felt special and like a celebrity. We will all be able to look back at this dream trip during hard times and smile. It was so cool that I got to swim with the dolphins on my 16th Birthday.
