Monday, August 5, 2013. The second week of July we headed back to our favorite vacation destination, Madeira Beach, FL. It was a much needed break after the stress from Braden being in the hospital the week before. The weather was awesome.much better than June of last year when Tropical Storm Debbie wrecked our week! Tuesday, October 30, 2012. I think this is the closest we have EVER been to Halloween without carving our pumpkin, but this month has been super busy and it totally snuck up on me. I truly believed that I had an extra week before Halloween! I finally bought a pumpkin at Target a few days ago and Parker got to choose the stencil. He picked Angry Birds, of course! Wednesday, July 3, 2013. The pain meds had him saying all sorts of funny things! He slept off and on through the evening and watched movies on his kindle until bedtime. Braden got two more doses of the antibiotic intravenously and then we were finally able to leave around 1:30! We were so happy to be heading home and CHOA made a really scary experience much more bearable. They are an amazing hospital and I think Braden actually likes going to see the doctor now! I won't lie and say that it is easy all day everyday, but without a doubt it is worth it. Even on the hardest day it is the best job in the world. Friday, November 30, 2012. This year we had three Thanksgivings! I am so tired of turkey and dressing for real! My three little turkeys! Our first Thanksgiving was the first Sunday in November and we celebrated with my mom's side of the family. Thursday, September 27, 2012. Happy Birthday Baby Girl! Today my baby turns 1! I can't believe that this is day is here. It gives me mixed feelings of happiness and a little sadness. Sad that this year has gone by so quickly, but very happy to see who she is- her personality and it gives me a little glimpse into who she will grow to be! Friday, August 17, 2012. One feet, Two feet, If Only She Had Two Left Feet. Oh Emersyn, why do you have to grow up so fast? Is it wrong of me to want to chop your sweet little legs off at the knees so you won't be walking already? Yeah, she is pretty awesome. She knows it, because she claps for herself.
