Take Paws: December 2008
http://takepaws37.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Friday, 12 December 2008. Life is for the living. There are often times when I feel the need to remind myself to do things: do the dishes, fold the laundry, tidy up my desk, clean out the refrigerator and remove that slimy bit of whatever that has managed to fall behind the jar of mayonnaise. But I rarely remind myself to be alive. To do and doing the things we want. And I will do crossword puzzles and think about Grandma every time I put pen to paper. I love you Grandma and I miss you. My spare time fin...
Take Paws: This is what boredom will get you
http://takepaws37.blogspot.com/2007/12/this-is-what-boredom-will-get-you.html
Wednesday, 12 December 2007. This is what boredom will get you. I have a problem. The first step is admitting it, right? I can't seem to rid myself of leftover bits of yarn - no matter how small the bit - when I'm finished with a project. So I wind it into a ball, stuff it into a ziploc bag, and send it off to the yarn graveyard.that part of my stash that hasn't seen the light of day in ages, mostly occupied by acrylic yarns that I bought before I knew any better. Now, what to do with them? My spare time...
Take Paws: Charity Shop Finds
http://takepaws37.blogspot.com/2007/12/charity-shop-finds.html
Tuesday, 11 December 2007. I found these six hanks of yummy green, 100% wool at the charity shop for 2.50 GBP. There's no information - no ball bands.nothing! But for that price, I'm not terribly picky. I've been winding them into balls and have run into many little snarls and quite a few knots in the first hank but overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm not sure what the wool wants to be yet but that's never stopped my from buying yarn. Tuesday, December 11, 2007. This is what boredom will get you.

Thursday, 29 January 2009. My favorite yarn store is closing. I'm sad because the shop will not be in existence when I go back for a visit in May. I'm sad because I won't be able to fondle the yarn. I'm sad because, as a business and source of income for some really great people, That Yarn Store. 160;in Eagle Rock, CA will cease to be. Thursday, January 29, 2009. 100 Things (in progress). And lives to tell about it. September 13, 2008 by mishkaknits. Well, it’s only taken about a month to “get right back” to this, which considering everything that’s going on, may not be so bad. Besides endless battles with my new Dell, there’s been lots more travel. Here’s a window picture from Manchester, which marked the end of my holiday:. Who ended up driving me to the airport because we chatted for so long, for which I am so grateful! Here at last is the knitting content!

100 Things (in progress). And lives to tell about it. Archive for September, 2008. On September 23, 2008 Leave a Comment. I forgot an FO in my last post: Fetching. It has been really chilly here in London, but I don’t need to wear them yet. They’re made of a strand of worsted-weight Plymouth alpaca and a strand of alpaca laceweight (KnitPicks, I think). Should be good for digging my Oyster card out of my bag on a cold morning. After breakfast, I walked to La Droguerie. Read Full Post ». Between this wind...

Hidden Objects Games - Enjoyable For Anybody. This is either actually great, or really frustrating depending on how quickly disappointed you get. Among the great things about concealed objects games is that they can be played by any individual. You don't have to master any controls, or learn anything brand-new. If you've ever searched for something in reality (and it's most likely you have) then you know how to play this type of video game.
