Monday, September 9, 2013. THE LAST DAY BEFORE SURGERY. Well, it's been 5 years since my left knee went bad. I was hit by a car at 14 years of age, fell on both knees and tore them up. Then numerous falls and bangs, so many, I can't count them. 3 years ago I fell down 3 steps onto cement, on my left knee. Since then it's been terrible. 2 years later it was so bad that I finally decided to see a surgeon. I look pretty calm in this picture - but I'm not. I'm a nervous wreck. Tuesday, September 3, 2013.

The weather was suppose to be rainy, but, I have special connections up stairs and was able to change the direction of the storm. Thursday, July 29, 2010. When Kacie was with her other grandmother she made herself a glasses case. It's out of felt, colored with marker, and hand stitched. She came to my house and wanted to do more. This is the first sewing lesson on the machine Kacie has had. She was such a great student. We started with straight stitching and then made it into an envelope and added a button. This is the back of Max's pillow, with two pockets. Kacie wanted a soft case for her mother to put her glasses in at night.

Saturday, November 20, 2010. I can hardly believe that it's Thanksgiving this week. Is it just me, or, is time moving in morp speed? I've decorated a little Fall tree on my porch. It might just become my "every" Holiday tree. I am very grateful for wonderful strong children. Who have turned out to be great adults. And who are raising my beautiful grandchildren. Thursday, September 30, 2010. TIME FOR HALLOWEEN FUN. Tomorrow is October 1. I've had my Halloween decorations, that I started gathering last year, up and ready to put out, for a week now. This is such a new thing for me, but I can't wait to decorate. I even ask my hubby if he would like to be a ghost with me to pass out the treats. I couldn't help but look at the Halloween fabric as I've been out. I made these two pillows to snuggle up to my cinderella pumpkin on my porch. I love to coordinate fabric.
