Tuesday, 1 February 2011. Bringing my attention back to weight loss. Yesterday I noticed that it was no longer dark at 4pm and today I saw some snowdrops peeking up above the brown soil. It may still be a long way off but spring is on its way. That makes my heart sooooooo glad. I finally went to see my counsellor for an official weigh in and here are my updated stats:. 16th March 2010: 94.5kgs/208lbs. 1st February 2011: 71.7kgs/158lbs. Friday, 23 July 2010. I've been having a very busy summer. First with summer school, both teaching and taking classes, and then visiting my Dad in Dresden (Germany) where he's on his penultimate assignment with FIFA before retirement. Monday, 20 October 2008. Weight Gained this Week .6kgs/ 1.3lbs. Prague was great. In exploring the city we walked an average of 16 kilometers/10 miles everyday. Love my pedometer. My food wasn't too bad. I tried to eat consciously and when I wanted to try a sweet I shared it with James. I did end up gaining .6kilos but I'm sure that'll disappear now that I'm back to regular programming. And in the many religious statues to be found lining the famous Charles Bridge. Monday, 2 August 2010. Had my weigh in today and lost 3kgs./6.6lbs which brings my weight to 68.5kgs/151lbs. I feel great! A couple of weeks ago I was given three awards. One by the beautiful Emilia of 238 and Shrinking. And the other two by the ever so lovely Alexia of My Wicked Wicked Ways. And equally gorgeous Miss Haneefa of Black Girl Gets Fit. 1 I'm a licensed scuba diver. 2 The first boy I ever kissed was French :). 5 I love the sound of rain on a galvanised roof. 6 I make the best cheesecake ever.
