Was the first-ever bicycle safety coordinator in Canada for the City of Toronto. While there he helped develop the Can-Bike program of cycling traffic education for the Canadian Cycling Association and is a National Examiner in that program. WELCOME TO TAKING THE ROAD. Taking the Scenic Route. Follow our adventures as we take the scenic route through life. Friday, July 25, 2014. We took a day trip to Buck Island right off the St. Croix coast. Kennedy designated Buck Island a National Monument because it is so beautiful. We enjoyed its gorgeous beach and great snorkeling. Chickens were everywhere, including a few mommas with baby chicks. Point Udall (and Jack and Isaac's Beach)- the easternmost point of US soil. Dave caught this beautiful sunrise on the morning we left.
