Taking the Scenic Route

Taking the Scenic Route. Follow our adventures as we take the scenic route through life. Friday, July 25, 2014. We took a day trip to Buck Island right off the St. Croix coast. Kennedy designated Buck Island a National Monument because it is so beautiful. We enjoyed its gorgeous beach and great snorkeling. Chickens were everywhere, including a few mommas with baby chicks. Point Udall (and Jack and Isaac's Beach)- the easternmost point of US soil. Dave caught this beautiful sunrise on the morning we left.

Taking the Scenic Route: October 2013

Taking the Scenic Route. Follow our adventures as we take the scenic route through life. Friday, October 04, 2013. First day of school (8/20/13). Charlie - 1st grade. First day of Classical Conversations (8/26/13). This is Nate's first year to be officially in CC. Despite his appearance in the picture above, he really likes it and is doing well. I'm surprised how much he's already picking up. We're learning a lot about the Medieval Period, which is right up his alley because he loves knights.

Taking the Scenic Route. Follow our adventures as we take the scenic route through life. Sunday, December 29, 2013. My parents came to visit in November, and we spent Thanksgiving at my sister's in Kansas City, yet these three pictures are all I have to show for the month. Not only am I not blogging as often, but I'm not even taking pictures very often! The boys and I went to the Curious George exhibit at the Fort Worth Museum. Curious George is one of their favorite shows. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Taking the Scenic Route: Charlie's Birthday

http://www.takingthescenicroute.blogspot.com/2014/07/charlies-birthday.html

Taking the Scenic Route. Follow our adventures as we take the scenic route through life. Thursday, July 24, 2014. We celebrated Charlie's 7th birthday last month at a go-kart/arcade. Instead of gifts, we asked Charlie's friends to bring a pack of gum for him and non-perishable food for the local food bank. Here is dropping it off at the warehouse. They even let him take some of the items into the store to put on the shelves. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
