FitFoodieATX: Galaxy Cafe- Clarksville
http://www.fitfoodieatx.com/2013/04/galaxy-cafe-clarksville.html
Where athletes eat and drink in Austin, Texas. Thursday, April 11, 2013. This week I visited Galaxy Cafe in Clarksville. It's right in the heart of Central Austin near downtown with easy access to Mopac. The decor inside is awesome but a little dark so patio is best. The patio is great anytime of day and just big enough to where I have never waited to snag a patio table. Small lot but you can park in the surrounding neighborhood around the block. Labels: gluten free austin. Welcome to FitFoodieATX. T...

FitFoodieATX: Cantina Laredo
http://www.fitfoodieatx.com/2013/06/cantina-laredo.html
Where athletes eat and drink in Austin, Texas. Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Is located on the corner of 3rd and Colorado. Is clearly noted with all the food allergy distinctions. This is your typical downtown parking routine. After 5pm there is a valet. There is also a large lot across for $6, but usually a couple trips around the block lead you to a good spot. The house marg and the "Perfect Patron" are great margaritas. At Cantina a lot of ice comes with the bar drinks, so be prepared if you are on the p...

Eating Italian in… Prague? | Madeline's Plate
https://madelinesplate.wordpress.com/2012/06/15/eating-italian-in-prague
Posted by: Madeline's Plate. June 15, 2012. Eating Italian in… Prague? Extensive wine selection at Vino di Vino. One of my favorite parts of traveling is trying out the local cuisine. Visits to New York include hot bagels and every single time I’m in Louisiana I have crawfish, fried catfish and gumbo. When family comes to Austin, I take them to restaurants like Fonda San Miguel. For the tasty cochinita pibil and tortas that are hard to find on the East Coast. So we bypassed the typical Czech cuisine, sco...

Thursday, May 3, 2012. 9829; Takoba- East 7th. 1411 East 7th Street. Austin, Texas 78702. Has the best Spicy-Mango Margaritas in town! These tasty toddies are what brought me back to Takoba for a second time (and will probably be what brings me back a third time- very soon), but they aren’t the only thing. Walking away stuffed, we couldn’t believe we didn't even bite into a single taco. Round two was in order. And boy did we order! El taco al pastor:. El taco de verduras:. Zucchini, sweet potatoes (Mmm!

FitFoodieATX: El Alma
http://www.fitfoodieatx.com/2013/03/el-alma.html
Where athletes eat and drink in Austin, Texas. Monday, March 11, 2013. El Alma is located just south of downtown on Barton Springs Rd in Bouldin Creek. This corner cafe is a great spot to soak up the sun and eat healthy. It has a tex mex flair, but inspired by the chef's Mexico City roots.so not just your enchilada, rice, and beans here. El Alma does NOT have a gluten free menu, but eating a paleo or gluten free meal is easy! 8oz flat iron steak. Any of the tacos ( chicken, shrimp, beef, fish). Welcome t...

FitFoodieATX: El Meson
http://www.fitfoodieatx.com/2013/03/el-mason.html
Where athletes eat and drink in Austin, Texas. Thursday, March 28, 2013. Not so stellar. Only park on the North side of the lot, otherwise get towed. The lot is gravel so keep in mind in the rain. It shares spaces with three other small restaurants so it can get crowded. You are brought or offered everything you need! I have never had bad service from the bar or at a table. The servers are versed in gluten free items and easily accommodate you. Megan went for the Mole Verde with a side salad. Substitutio...
