May 10, 2014. Meanwhile Back at Home. This is what was going on back at home while we were in the hospital. I can’t even figure out how to describe how amazing the 4 grandparents have been trough this whole thing. The kids LOVE hanging out with them. In addition to keeping up with 4 crazy kids at home with all their activity. Mom, Dad, Susan, Scott, we CANNOT thank you enough! Helping us facilitate Facetime while we were still in the hospital. Posted by eyre blog. May 11, 2014. May 12, 2014. We had SO mu...

Five Kids in Five Years: Interesting Things We've Learned
http://looslifamily.blogspot.com/2015/05/interesting-things-weve-learned.html
Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Interesting Things We've Learned. After dinner tonight, we brainstormed this list of things we've learned on this trip so far. We'll doubtless be adding to the list, but this is what we came up with so far! A good little sandwich - and lot of crumbs all over the car and your lap. (Saren). Oliver always has his shoes untied. Literally always. (Ashton). The sidewalks are really narrow or non-existant. (Ashton). There are a lot of stray dogs in Bulgaria and I feel really bad for the...

http://eyreblog.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
April 30, 2014. Noah has been doing such a great job at keeping this updated and I want to jump in and add a bit. The procedure today couldn't have gone better! This could potentially postpone any open heart surgery for a long time. We are feeling pretty grateful over here in our corner room of the CTICU and know that your love and prayers are making miracles happen. Posted by eyre blog. Links to this post. April 29, 2014. Five Kids in Five Years: Are you getting what you need out of motherhood?
http://looslifamily.blogspot.com/2011/01/are-you-getting-what-you-need-out-of.html
Sunday, January 16, 2011. Are you getting what you need out of motherhood? My babies turned 6 a couple days ago. My oldest baby turned 11 a couple weeks ago. How did this happen? You know the saying, "Never put off 'til tomorrow that which you can do today"? My parents flipped that saying in a book they wrote and I want to embrace this new version a lot more: "Always put off a put-off-able in favor of a now-or-never.". Cleaning and scrubbing can wait 'til tomorrow. So quiet down cobwebs. Dust, go to sleep.

Five Kids in Five Years: Happy Father's Day, Dad!
http://looslifamily.blogspot.com/2015/06/happy-fathers-day-dad.html
Thursday, June 25, 2015. Happy Father's Day, Dad! OK, so it's a little late. But I just have to take a few minutes to share some favorite thoughts and memories and photos of this amazing man who I get to call Dad. He loves and cares more deeply and passionately about more people and more things than most people can even imagine. I love this photo-booth shot. Dad always did photo-booth pictures with us when we were little. And he could get us laughing like no other. On a cross-country road trip. See how t...

Five Kids in Five Years: Bulgaria - Day 1 and part of Day 2
http://looslifamily.blogspot.com/2015/05/bulgaria-day-1-and-part-of-day-2.html
Monday, May 11, 2015. Bulgaria - Day 1 and part of Day 2. So we've had three full days in Bulgaria now and wow, it's amazing to be here. While others didn't really want to be touched (seemed like they were so un-used to touch that it was uncomfortable for them). The kids loved checking out the grocery stores (which are amazingly nice and have so many choices compared to 20 years ago! We got to experience seeing one boy with severe disabilities walk across this little bridge thing that our kids and some o...
