bird and feather: New Post Box
http://christaleff.blogspot.com/2009/12/new-post-box.html
Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Approaching our front door these last few days, I have been tickled to see our finished entryway ensemble. I designed this post box a month back and took it to my favorite sheet metal shop down the street. They do amazing work and I got the call this week that it was ready for pickup. Now we have the full setup: galvanized barn light, handcrafted aluminum numbers on cherry, and the post box with vinyl letters. December 22, 2009 at 10:28 AM. January 5, 2010 at 12:04 PM.

Monday, August 18, 2014. LITTLE BLACKFOOT RIVER MEADOWS. Another great find a short drive from our home. The 10.5 mile round trip hike to the Little Blackfoot River Meadows surrounded us with beauty, peace and harmony with nature. Our canines enjoyed the hike as much as we did, dipping themselves in the frigid waters of the river whenever they could. The view at the turnaround spot, the subalpine Little Blackfoot Meadows. Doesn't get much better than this for lunch al fresco. Links to this post.

Ramirez Family: MEETING ETHAN
http://ramirezfabfam.blogspot.com/2015/04/meeting-ethan.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2015. We just returned from a wonderful visit with the Oregon clan of the Ramirez/Lipetzky tribe. Ethan Gabriel Ramirez is now a month old, thriving and gaining weight. The frontal bald spot must be genetically linked. We found exactly the same hairline pattern in one of Danny's photos when he was around this age. Of course, we enjoyed visiting, playing and horsing around with Xavier. At two and a half, he is a joy to interact with. Xavi's priceless smile at the playground.

Ramirez Family: REFLECTIONS ON MY BIRTHDAY
http://ramirezfabfam.blogspot.com/2015/07/reflections-on-my-birthday.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. REFLECTIONS ON MY BIRTHDAY. REFLECTIONS ON MY BIRTHDAY:. I am very fortunate to have had the life I've lived for 64 years. As a physician, I have had the privilege to witness pain and suffering in my fellow human beings, and in many cases, I have been able to heal and restore health and well-being. I am thankful my life experiences have been many, most of them positive and rewarding. The risks I've taken have paid off many fold for me and my family. Muere Lentamente Pablo Neruda.

Angkor Wat, largest temple in the world and jewel of Cambodia. The silhouette of this temple makes up the Cambodian national flag. Climbing up to the highest tower through a very steep stairway. Happy face shortly after we found a quiet corner on the highest tower and renewed our wedding vows. Cambodia is a very poor coun...

Ramirez Family: September 2013
http://ramirezfabfam.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 15, 2013. IT'S NOT OVER 'TILL IT'S OVER. Summer has been persistent this September, and so has our garden. We don't mind. Fall will be short, and winter will take away most of the colors and fragrances from our garden. The roses had a late start, but they are catching up now. JIR. Our deck tomato garden was fruitful and delicious. First abundant lavender crop we've ever had. Sunflower almost ready to open. Dahlias were a prolific new addition this year. Links to this post.
