Tale of Two Outbacks. 09 Aug 2006 04:29 am. You never write, you never call…. As much as most people wouldn’t be too satisfied with the mileage I get, I’m fairly happy. The win for me is twofold — first, it’s around 4-5MPG better mileage than I got with my Grand Prix. Secondly, I don’t need premium fuel, which is commanding at least another 20 cents per gallon, if not more. That’s win-win in my book. Tale of Two Outbacks. Made free by Stylish Seven Jeans.

I brought my car into the shop on a Friday for a laundry list of work and the estimate? Sans Legacy by now) and the Mazda. I wanted the space and hatch, but not quite the fuel consumption of an SUV — though admittedly I really. 8212; but after the 2006 butt-ugly redesign, I decided against it. Try saying that three times fast!

Me, Myself, and I. Well, here she is, The Blue Devil. She’s a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with pretty much every option except the Bose audio system. As of my last trip to the track (on 10/12/01 @ Raceway Park), she ran 14.886 @ 91.83mph. The Blue Devil has been retired! As of 06/06 I have a new car! I installed an XM tuner add-on and Terk thru-glass antenna a few weeks ago. XM is pretty friggen cool! And they do seem to bite a little better. Mods I’m Awaiting. Reflective Concepts GTP badge lettering.
