We had our first trip to the paediatrician, an expensive tear filled one. Grace had her 8 week check up. Her first weigh in since she was 4 weeks old and a little 9lb bundle! Well now she’s a fantastic 14lbs and 24inches long. I knew she was big but didn’t realise how big – 110% on the growth charts! December 30, 2013 at 1:50 pm.

So we’ve done a few weeks of purées for Grace and it’s been going well, bit slow and messy until I remembered the baby led weaning stuff I did with Max. Much easier, this morning Grace ‘ate’ (mushed into her pyjamas and hair) banana pancakes, at lunch she mulched cheese cubes and cucumber strips and I think she’ll get to try some eggy bread tonight.
