Tales of the Hunts: Sunday- Mother's Day Weekend- Snow and Skyping with Elder Hunt

http://www.talesofthehunts.blogspot.com/2015/05/sunday-mothers-day-weekend-snow-and.html

Tales of the Hunts. Sunday, May 10, 2015. Sunday- Mother's Day Weekend- Snow and Skyping with Elder Hunt. It has been pouring rain all week long. This morning we woke up to about 8 inches of snow. It was unbelievable to all of us. All of the spring leaves on my trees were covered in snow and hanging down very heavily. It is not supposed to snow on Mother's Day! To me, Mother's Day is a warm, sunny spring day filled with bright colors and happy flowers. Not snow. Being a mother is my favorite thing about ...

Tales of the Hunts: General Conference and Easter Weekend

http://www.talesofthehunts.blogspot.com/2015/04/general-conference-and-easter-weekend.html

Tales of the Hunts. Monday, April 6, 2015. General Conference and Easter Weekend. On Friday of Easter weekend we got a picture from Brasil. Hugo was finally baptized! It is so wonderful because Marcus has been working with him a long time and this day finally happened. Marcus got to watch General Conference from Brasil. He was in a separate room with the Americans. The Easter bunny found Marcus in Sao Paulo with a big chocolate egg. We dyed Easter eggs during the Priesthood session of General Conference.

Tales of the Hunts. Tuesday, October 7, 2014. The Views At Klondike Place- Early October. Aside from one 'cold' day in early September, the weather has been glorious pretty much since we moved here in mid June. The sun shines, it is in the 70's and 80's. People tell me that at some point in October it's like a switch is turned, and the weather gets colder. The evenings and mornings are cool now, but pleasantly so. My flowers, herbs, tomatoes and veggies are still thriving and producing. This is what I se...

Tales of the Hunts. Tuesday, December 9, 2014. It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas- 2014. Today is December 9th and we are fully immersed in the Christmas spirit! All the shopping was complete by December 1st so now we can celebrate and enjoy! It has been a mild December so far, with highs in the 50's and low 60's and NO SNOW. Molly is enjoying the warm December! We got our tree up. And have been decorating this house in the pines. My clever friend Laura sent me this sign for Christmas! The morni...

http://theblaisfamily.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

May in Review via Instagram. As I mentioned earlier, Poppy and QE came to town for Mothers Day. While they were here, my dad picked up another motorcycle in Tucson. Adam and Lila LOVE when my dad pulls stunts like this! They both loved riding on it with him, and begged for more turns! One Saturday, we rode our bikes to Vincents for breakfast. Always a crowd pleaser! Huge thanks to Ashely for hosting all of us! And this girl. Angie of the Yellow Bungalow Shop. I may have had a minor freak out! Lila also f...

Fun in St. George. As always, we had a great time in St. George for the next few days. We did some super fun stuff. Adam and Lila LOVED playing with Zhar and ZaLeah too. We rock climbed, golfed, bowled, ate at our favorite spots, went to the Childrens museum, and did a lot of relaxing. On the last day, it even snowed, which Adam was stoked about! We about died laughing. Casey quickly recovered by saying "Santa makes all the toys for Target." Good save, Casey! After dinner, we hammered out the Nativity wi...

Casey and I thought it would be fun to take our kids on the Polar Express this year to "kick off" the Christmas season! It was so much fun, and our kids had a blast. The train was decorated so perfectly, and the trip to the North Pole couldn't have been more magical. Our favorite part was most defiantly Santa coming aboard the train and handing out bells for us to ring! We spent the night at the hotel by the train station, and our kids loved that! What a fun way to ring in the season! That's been the bes...

Cruise Days 6 and 7. Rotan Was. Awesome. This place was unbelievable. It was probably the most beautiful place I had ever been. It was so well kept, and the scenery was so green and lush. The water was clear, and warm! The island was secluded so there were no waves, which made it so fun to swim around in! Adam and Lila loved it, and so did all the big kids! The highlight was swinging on the rope swing off the platform into the ocean. It was seriously so cool! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Kat and Mark Rane.

2 costumes per kid this year. A Rapunzel and a SWAT Team Guy). Which also meant 2 photo shoots. And 2 melt downs. And a lot of Candy. Glad one more Halloween is over! Man, I don't think I've been so far behind on this little blog of mine since I started! Time to kick it into high gear. Let's start back in October. The weather was lovely, and we were excited to start soccer. One day while Adam was at school, Lila and I decided to "carve" pumpkins. I swear, there can be nothing cuter in this world! So anyw...

http://theblaisfamily.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

July whizzed by this year! We packed it full of summer fun, and couldnt believe when it all came to a close! We spent a week in St. George with QE and Poppy, A short weekend in Las Vegas, Played in the monsoons, swam at the G's, hung around the house, and then headed over to San Diego for 10 delightful days at the beach! Here are a few pictures that act as proof that July did in fact happen. :). A tea party with Figaro is a daily occurrence around here! And I think it's adorable. We rented a big house wi...

A few more words about August. Before I knew it, August was over! But not without a couple trips to Tropical Smoothie with Lila! Lila LOVES picking Adam up from the bus stop in the afternoons! This is her usual reaction. And let me tell you.the feeling is completely mutual. It makes my heart so happy! Luckily it all turned out okay! Heinz and Kammee found them the next morning. Huge relief to our whole family! She and Wess moved to Cleveland a couple weeks ago, which is cool for them, but a bust for us!

The other day, Heidi called me to ask me if Adam and Lila wanted to come for a big play date/photo shoot for Arcadia News! We never pass up a chance for ice cream in their ice cream parlor, so we headed over! It was so much fun, and how lucky for Adam and Lila to end up on the cover of the March edition of Arcadia News! Besides the Variety Show, February was pretty low key around here. Here are a few pictures that I have to show for the month. Valentines day breakfast prepared by Adam and Lila. I absolut...
