Tales Of An Unpublished Writer

Thursday, September 19, 2013. I hate updating you guys in long posts. I hate. Met Rhett after his boot camp graduation and hung out. Dipped my toes into Lake Michigan (a tornado chased us off the beach). Toured the Field Museum. Saw beluga whales at Shedd Aquarium. Saw Van Gogh paintings for the first time in real life at The Art Institute. Went to the Museum of Science and Industry. Ate deep dish pizza. Took an architecture tour on the river, learning about all the famous downtown Chicago buildings.

Tales Of An Unpublished Writer: September 2012

http://talesunpublished.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Sunday, September 23, 2012. Reminiscing About Figment and Books. This post is going to be really short because it's almost one am and I'm sitting in an uncomfortable desk in an office and I've just had a can of Mountain Dew and I'm all jittery and GAHHH I'M SO TIRED BUT I WANT TO STAY UP ALL NIGHT. This post will be completely horrible and the sentences are going to be cruddy- and know you know what my first drafts look like. HERE HAVE A PICTURE OF WATERMELON SLICES SHAPED LIKE HEARTS. I remember when I ...

Tales Of An Unpublished Writer: October 2012

http://talesunpublished.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Another NaNoWrimo Pep Talk. Starts in a few hours. If you aren't aware of what NaNoWriMo is, you're out of luck. Also: pleased to meet you. NOW RUN. Now that that is out of the way, I'd like to say that though I will not be fully participating this year (I mean, I will be writing this November, and probably more than usual, but I'm not going to try 50,000 words again for the third time this year), I am still very. Hang out with the rest of the year. I have won four of these i...

Tales Of An Unpublished Writer: November 2012

http://talesunpublished.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html

Friday, November 16, 2012. I will be going to an Autumn Camp for the weekend. It will be fun- aside from the fact that it's a six hour drive, and my sister isn't exactly feeling great right now, but has to go anyway. I don't have any posts scheduled for while I'm away, so this blog will be blissfully silent until the day of my return. Ahh, autumn. Thursday, November 15, 2012. How This Blog Came to Be. I'd declared this month writing-themed-posts-only month, and in terms of writing, I'm pretty dry. Your o...

Tales Of An Unpublished Writer: An Update

http://talesunpublished.blogspot.com/2013/09/an-update.html

Thursday, September 12, 2013. I'm in Chicago for the next week for my sixteenth birthday trip, and also to go to my sister's Boyfriend's Navy graduation-thing (I might mention that he joined the Navy the other month. Woops). It was a 15 hour drive yesterday. We left at 4am and got to our friend's house around 8pm. After having chocolate cake, I crashed on someone's bed and awoke this morning very sick. I took some medicine and I'm feeling better now, so don't worry about me. Have fun in Chicago. :-).

Tales Of An Unpublished Writer: Discovery Days: The Improv Team

http://talesunpublished.blogspot.com/2013/05/discovery-days-improv-team.html

Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Discovery Days: The Improv Team. Hey there, guys. Things are going pretty well here at Discovery Days 2013. It is te end of my second day, and I'm loving nearly every minute of it. The fun run was completely cancelled due to rain and thunderstorms. My K-State veterinary school tour was cancelled and we went to the zoo instead (UGH. On the bright side, I got to touch a tiger pelt and a lazy armadillo). The meals are horrendous. Still, best year yet. So far. So what's there to like?
