THE COOK FAMILY CHRONICLES: Pre-Christmas Fun
http://jontashacookfam.blogspot.com/2013/12/pre-christmas-fun.html
Monday, December 23, 2013. Put up the tree, and the holidays begin! Nothing brings on the Christmas spirit more than a few rounds of family Mafia. My boys love being able to join in with the adults now. There's always lots of arguing, but when the game is over, the Christmas spirit is back. How mad can we really be.we're all smiling! Who else, besides Calla, would think to use a plastic hoe to build a snowman! The only picture I got of frosting cookies: Tanner licking up all the leftover sprinkles. Stran...

THE COOK FAMILY CHRONICLES: May 2013
http://jontashacookfam.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 31, 2013. End Of School Wrap Up. With school coming to a close, I realized there are a few little things I wanted to remember. One Sunday when we were out of church early we decided to go walk around the temple before going to Nana and Grandpa's for dinner. Apparently the Mt. Timpanogos temple grounds are closed on Sundays. So we went to the Provo temple. I have such great memories of this temple! Nathan's graduation. Does he really have to move on to Junior High? Nathan and Miss Weathers....

THE COOK FAMILY CHRONICLES: Sledding Mania
http://jontashacookfam.blogspot.com/2013/12/sledding-mania.html
Saturday, December 28, 2013. This year we hit a turning point. There is nothing worse than sledding with a kid that refuses to climb back up the hill by herself. I get so tired of carrying a child, and usually a couple of sleds, back up the hill. This year Calla was good to climb back up by herself.and try to bring her sled too. She is one FEARLESS little girl. She went down every possible way. Backward, head first.I shouldn't be surprised. It was so cute to watch. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

THE COOK FAMILY CHRONICLES: December 2013
http://jontashacookfam.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. The kids had a really short amount of time off of school before Christmas. But they had a LOT of time to fill after Christmas before school started again. Tara came up with her kids to visit. Whenever they come up, you know there is going to be a sleepover with Tanner and Ty. I walked into Tanner's room to find them both on Tanner's bed, playing their DS's with their shirts off. The reason for going shirtless: It was too hot. I think not. Anika is pretty proud of her progress.

THE COOK FAMILY CHRONICLES: August 2013
http://jontashacookfam.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 18, 2013. All the rest of our summer activities bunched into one big blog post. I was going to be better this year. I was going to blog at least once a week so I could add all the little details I want to remember in our family life. But then life happened. It's better to live life, than to just blog about it, right? So I only feel partially guilty about this big picture dump. I'm glad we ended up with a more relaxed schedule. So here are some of the random things we did this summer:.

THE COOK FAMILY CHRONICLES: Christmas Eve
http://jontashacookfam.blogspot.com/2013/12/christmas-eve.html
Sunday, December 29, 2013. Christmas Eve day started out with another morning of sledding. They really just can't get enough. After sledding we had a quick bite to eat at Wendy's. I hadn't gotten a picture of the kids by the tree, so I forced them to sit down for a quick snapshot. But with my kids (especially Calla), it never ends up being quick. I need to get better at that.or just learn how to photoshop.or tie calla's arms and legs together to get her to hold still. All the advancements we have in grap...

THE COOK FAMILY CHRONICLES: March 2013
http://jontashacookfam.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 28, 2013. Since 1/4 of the year is already over, I have some catching up to do The first three months of the year are always so uneventful. I always think there wasn't much done other than basketball. January and February are by far my two least favorite months of the year. But there were a few things going on. This required lots of taking kids to the church and Rec center gyms for practicing. Here we have 12 kids jammed into the van for a ride to the church. The boys got free BYU basketb...

THE COOK FAMILY CHRONICLES: April 2013
http://jontashacookfam.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 15, 2013. It was our typical spring break again this year. Jon was busy at work and couldn't take any time off. I thought this new job of his was supposed to make it so we had our spring and fall breaks back. Nope. We still had some fun activities planned around town. Nana still has her grandparents pass to Hogle Zoo. We couldn't pass up the chance to go with her. Tanner and Nana share a mutual love for animals. The zoo is probably one of their favorite places.. THE COOK FAMILY CHRONICLES: September 2013
http://jontashacookfam.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 30, 2013. I have been looking forward to this year, yet dreading this year for quite a while. Nathan starting Junior High scares me to death. He has been struggling with school, and I don't know how things are going to go with 8 different classes and more responsibility. Calla starting preschool has been long awaited. I now have 2 hours to myself, twice a week! A week or so into school Tanner asked me if he could have a "back to school night game party" so he could get to know kids in h...
