Dan's Running Blog: Zeno's Greatest Hits: Paradox Remix
http://danterner.blogspot.com/2009/07/zenos-greatest-hits-paradox-remix.html
Monday, July 6, 2009. Zeno's Greatest Hits: Paradox Remix. Today's running music was brought to me by The Sound of the Smiths (Deluxe Edition). An album I would highly recommend as running music with just a few exceptions*. Unfortunately, a string of those exceptions fell over the course of this run. Running to the live version of "Meat is Murder," or "Asleep"? Today was Week 5, Day 2, which is the last week of "short" intervals. W5D3 features a 20 minute uninterrupted run. Whee! 5 minute warmup walk.

As the Gaming World Turns: June 2008
http://springsgamer.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
As the Gaming World Turns. Friday, June 27, 2008. Once again technology bites me in the ass. Thursday night I finished a 3-part podcast with Achievement Junkie's Natalie Sousa. It was good, everything went well and we had a nice conversation on a wide variety of topics. I was pretty pleased. Then I loaded things up and only about half the recorded time ended up being downloaded. I have no damn idea what the problem is. Was it the mp3 recorder? Is it the webhost (podbean)? Links to this post. 6 Got Gator ...

Dan's Running Blog: Make Your Own Kind of Music
http://danterner.blogspot.com/2007/09/make-your-own-kind-of-music.html
Saturday, September 1, 2007. Make Your Own Kind of Music. I wrote this entry in September of 2007. The instructions still work, but you might want to check out this. That gives some easier alternatives. It also contains a link to a new-and-improved version of the Visual Basic script mentioned below. Today's blog entry is a bit different. I'm not going to post about my Couch to 5k run for Week 6 Day 3. It went well. No spiders or snails to dodge, no sprinklers to avoid - what more could I ask for? This, f...

Dan's Running Blog: Graduation Day
http://danterner.blogspot.com/2009/08/graduation-day.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Well, I did it. I'm a Couch to 5K graduate. Again. For a third time, actually. Over the last 9 weeks I've seen the following changes:. 1 My shirt collars fit more comfortably. 2 I had to switch to a smaller belt. My pants tend to fall down without a belt now. 3 I don't sweat as much when getting ready in the morning. 4 I don't feel the need to adjust the house thermostat down to sub-arctic temperatures all the time. 5 I dropped from 191 to 174 pounds. Minutes , 49. As for today...

Dan's Running Blog: The Running Man
http://danterner.blogspot.com/2009/06/running-man.html
Wednesday, June 24, 2009. I'm really liking the C25k iPhone app I found - it's so much easier than all the convoluted things I was trying to do before. It posts to Facebook, which I hope is not too annoying. This morning's run, though, for some reason, failed to post. Posted by Daniel Terner. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Friday, July 3, 2009. Week 5, Day 1. Posted by Daniel Terner. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Greenacres, FL, United States. I am a 38-year old Elder Law Attorney, living in South Florida. I am married and have four wonderful children. In recent years I've seen my waistband expand, and I'd like to be around for my family for many years to come. Therefore, in December of 2006, I decided to start an exercise routine and begin eating healthy. This blog charts my progress. View my complete profile. See C...

Dan's Running Blog: I get knocked down, but I get up again
http://danterner.blogspot.com/2010/03/i-get-knocked-down-but-i-get-up-again.html
Thursday, March 4, 2010. I get knocked down, but I get up again. At least I know that I have the ability to complete the program and that it works for me. Two months from now, I'll be about 25 pounds lighter and more fit all around, if all goes according to plan. Posted by Daniel Terner. May 18, 2010 at 5:12 PM. Keep going, my man. June 14, 2010 at 11:31 PM. The point of this somewhat rambling comment is to make a suggestion I thought you may find helpful: have you ever considered entering a race? I find...
