Talk: Jesus: July 2006
http://talkjesus.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
A discussion about the historical Jesus. Did he exist? Thursday, July 06, 2006. Was Jesus born of a virgin? The earliest writings in the New Testament do not even mention Mary, the mother of Jesus. There is only one mention of the name, Mary, in Paul's letter to the Romans (Rom 16:6 - "Greet Mary, who bestowed much labor on us. ") . But there is no reason to believe that this was Mary, the mother of Jesus. There is certainly no mention of a virgin birth. Paul: no mention of Jesus' mother or his birth.

Talk: Christianity: August 2006

Friday, August 25, 2006. Can an atheist be saved? According to the New Testament, if one admits that he is a sinner, repents of sin, believes that Jesus is God's Son and died for his sins, then he's saved. He has eternal life. What about those people, who "received salvation" that are now atheists? If your answer is "no, the person is no longer saved," then what is your understanding of eternal. Either salvation is eternal, or it is not (.it is eternal according to the New Testament). Links to this post.
