Playing the Angel: August 2006
http://robidoo.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 21, 2006. I have been intending to update about my friends Zack and Jeanine's wedding in CO a couple weekends ago. But.here I am blogging, the camera is downstairs, and I am feeling too lazy to go get it. I hate the circle of Funk. It seems like once I start feeling de-funked, I start moving back into it. And tonight, I am feeling funkified. It hasn't been a good night anyways, and that just lends itself to negative thinking. How do you turn good intentions into good habits?

Friday, June 30, 2006. Sorry to not have more, but I. Need to get to bed. But I did promise at least something. I will post more pictures when I get back from our Steamboat getaway. But this is the beautiful Brielle (please don't mind my ugly arm in the background). This is when she is less than a day old. So cute! Alright, more when I get back. Today has been one heck of a day. Saturday, August 11. Life is good when you make a choice. Next, I attended a workshop from Greg McKeown. He is the high councilman for our ward and gave a presentation entitled, " If You Don't Prioritize Your Life, Someone Else Will. 1 Watch your language (yes, this has double meaning for me as the occasional four-letter word still slips) - notice when you say "I have to" and replace it with "I choose to.". Its fascinating to look back on my past three-and-a-half months at work. Utilizing these princ...

Sunday, July 1. It was a fun non-stop weekend! After a quick shower and power nap (10m turned to 60.yikes! I joined a group of friends for a fancy, home cooked dinner. The company was great, lots of jokes and playful interaction. Then a friend and I headed toward San Jose. Someone opened their home to a group of us. Their large home sat atop a hill with a spectacular view from SJ to Oakland and SF. Fun place to go swimming and hang out. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Visit my book website.

My blog on Life: Geek, pharmacist, Mormon/Jew, super awesome. Friday, April 11, 2014. Also, I GOT ENGAGED! Alex finally proposed to me after dating for 5 years. We both knew this was coming, but it's nice to finally have it happen. Alex proposed to me at Empire Saber Guild, with lightsabers and Jedi robes, and it was awesome. I have the best fiancee. I'm now in the process of planning a geeky chinese/italian/jewish fusion wedding. Fun times! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Kolam in the morning.

Monday, January 7. South America - Landscape. Many know I like to think I'm a good photog, but I think it comes down to having very pretty things to take pictures of. Here are my favorites from the trip. The Andes Mountains, Peru. Many many giant turtles at the Galapagos. Their faces kinda look like ET. Poor guy looks beat! This is Diego, a different species.that happens a lot in the Galapagos. The baby turtles are so cute! They're each marked with a number. This is what Lonesome George looked like.

Wednesday, January 28. Night with the Warriors. Uncle Richard is always so generous with me. A Warriors season ticket holder, he was invited to attend an event in SF where fans could mingle up close and personal with the team. Unable to attend, he shared his passes with me and my friends. The event took place just outside AT&T Park on a beautiful evening. Inside, we had our pick of delicious food truck samples, drinks and desserts. I'm such a happy girl! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, June 17. My cousin Isaac helped to pick out Monsoon back in the summer of 2000. We'd both just graduated from high school and were working odd summer jobs together in Colorado (the fireworks stand being an all time favorite.though the sticker job wasn't so shabby either). Since then, Monsoon and I have traveled nearly 178,000 miles together. I'm going to miss this car. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Visit my book website. Livin in a Boys World. My blog on Life: Geek, pharmacist, Mormon/Jew, super awesome. Sunday, August 11, 2013. I know it's been several months since I last posted. I've been kind of busy. I went to greece with the family, which was amazing. I spent a week with them traveling all over the mainland of Greece and traversing Athens. It was really, really hot there but the food was amazing and the sites were fantastic. And there may be a chance I will be heading to Hong Kong if the pharmacy ends up being a bust. We shall see.
