Saturday, September 5, 2009. Here's some pictures from our weekend in Arkansas a few weeks ago. We went to Beaver Lake where Monica's parents live. It is so beautiful there. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Last night when I went to work there was a lovely coating of ice over the roads. This morning there was a nice blanket of snow covering that lovely ice. Our first ice/snow storm of the year is here.yay! Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Happy Birthday, Alan! Alan's birthday was this past friday, the 16th. He's now the big 25. I can't believe it. We are getting so old :( I got him a sirius sattelite radio (which by the way is a big hassle, so don't ever get one! What a beautiful day.

Monday, April 5, 2010. We didn't do a whole lot. Went to church, then to eat lunch with Alan's family, then to my mom's for dinner. Had a good family day. Oh, and I FINALLY got to have chocolate! I stayed up till midnight (which I would have been up anyway) and only had 2 little pieces. I didn't want to eat a lot right before bed. It tastes better now than it ever has before! Saturday, May 2, 2009. Challenge Week 2 Update. Week 2 has ended! I couldn't believe it. It tasted so good! But I guess when you quit eating that stuff and then you eat it, it doesn't agree with you b/c your body isn't used to it. My family got dessert every time we went out to eat, but I just looked away! Good luck with week 3! So here are some pictures from the past week. This is my new 2 nd. He is only 9 weeks, and he's a big boy! He weighed almost 10 lbs when he was born! Us again with Dylan and Angel.

Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Birthdays and more winter weather! The pictures uploaded backwards but oh well! We've been so busy with birthdays.3 in the last 3 weeks! Then his moms 50 th. Then my step-dads. So here's some pictures. This cake was so good. Oh my goodness. Got it at Johnnie's Bakery and it was fabulous! Donna's surprise 50 th. Party Gina and I had so much fun planning it and Donna had no idea. Poor girl, thought we were going to Cheesecake Factory! And more snow and ice! A challenge for Lent.

Friday, December 26, 2008. Here's our tree on Christmas Eve. This is the nativity scene that Grammy made for my mom (a long time ago! And she gave it to me to have. I have always loved putting it up so I am so thankful to have it now. After spending time with Alan's family we went to my mom's. We ate again and opened presents . Shelby also got a Wii! I think Alan and I are the only one's who don't have a Wii.or a flatscreen tv for that matter :(. Here's mom playing bowling on the Wii.

Wednesday, February 17, 2010. A challenge for Lent. I chose to give up chocolate, which is something I eat almost every day! I know it's bad, but I almost can't help it! I love love love chocolate! I was going to try and do all sweets, but I honestly don' think I can go that far! I'm not big on candy, so that wouldn't be something to give up since I really don't eat it. Although, since I can't have chocolate, I may have to use candy as my last resort! I will be doing a ton of praying for the next 40 days!
