Rantings, Ramblings, and Randomness. A blog about writing, motherhood, love, and life in general. Thursday, November 15, 2012. For a Brave Woman. Due to medical privacy laws, we weren’t given much information about the donor liver or the other recipient. That information is exchanged later, if the parties agree to it. Little did I know at the time how much that the other recipient would be a part of our lives. I could not believe that this vibrant woman, who had already been through so much, was gone....

Rantings, Ramblings, and Randomness. A blog about writing, motherhood, love, and life in general. Sunday, July 19, 2015. A Tale of Two Races - Another Dam 50K and the Dawg Gone Long 50 Miler/50K. Not my most graceful moment. Anyway.let's talk about running. If you’re a first timer and want to try your legs out on a 50K, this is the perfect race to do just that. And if you’re an experienced ultra runner and want to try for a PR, this is also a good race for that. Running an ultra is sort of like childbirth.

Rantings, Ramblings, and Randomness. A blog about writing, motherhood, love, and life in general. Sunday, February 10, 2013. Today is Maya’s liver-versary! I have, in recent months, talked to her about taking the pill and swallowing it like a big girl. She seemed eager to do it, but for some reason, I held off. After all, she’s only 6 years old. What if she’s too young? What if it gets stuck in her throat and she never wants to try again? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Using Harry Potter...

http://lifeinclarity.blogspot.com/2012/05/recently-read-dispatcher.html
Tuesday, 15 May 2012. Recently Read - The Dispatcher. The Dispatcher by Ryan David Jahn. The phone rings. It's your daughter. She's been dead for four months. What I Thought -. I loved this book! It has the feel of a spit on your boots, down and dirty, old American era. A feel I didn't really think I would be able to get in to, but one I found it impossible not to get dragged right down into the grit of. Labels: David Ryan Jahn. 15 May 2012 at 19:22. I was sold from the first two lines of the blurb!

Both of us have lost a few pounds and we think this is due to the lack of dairy. It is safe to say that TJack and I were addicted to cheese. I didn’t know how much of an effect the lack of cheese/dairy would have on my body, but I like the results. I do get some weird looks when I take some of my concoctions into work. The soup I made this week (Po...

I write. I sleep. I try to resist cake. Saturday, 16 May 2015. The PINK SOFA meets Beryl Kingston. Well here I am prepped, pampered, pink sofa’d and feeling very spoilt.
