Layne and Anadeane's family adventures. How to reach us. Gerald and Frances Galbraith. John and Anika Adams. Berhan Language Institute Since 1995. Sunday, April 27, 2014. I printed copies up for everyone and we sang it before we ate our Easter dinner. Mixed reviews on that one. Our family sound was not exactly melodic. We managed to share a gratitude for the Savior and His resurrection and that will have to suffice. The ballooning gang: Trena (friend of Morgan's), Morgan, Chase, Isaiah and Allegra. This ...

It's All Good: March 2009
http://jenandgang.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 23, 2009. I guess it was a bad hair day. I didn't know. Tonight as we were saying our final "good nights" to all the kiddos, I walked into Brett's room and sat down on his bed. He put his hand on my arm and gently said, "Mom, I hope tomorrow is a better hair day for you! Didn't know it was a bad hair day. I wish he had told me a little earlier! Thursday, March 19, 2009. Yes, I was driving and yes, I took the picture! I'd say it was a pretty good day for me! We were late for scouts! Life wan...

It's All Good: July 2009
http://jenandgang.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Matt took Brett and Ben to Alaska earlier this month. It was their first time joining the big boys. My Dad, and brother, Chris, were in for the week-long adventure as well. Brace yourself. There's a ton of pictures. :). Killing time in the Seattle airport. A "little" Kodiak grizzly in the airport. Nice. I'm sending my little boys off to a land where these things ROAM? Don't you love all the cammo. The boys were in heaven already. Doesn't this remind you of Indiana Jones? Chris c...

Adams-Hart stuff: August 2009

Saturday, August 15, 2009. On Living in the Country. You can shoot as many rocks with the slingshot as you want and you can shoot them as far as you want (just not toward the house, of course). There are never enough landscaping rocks to cover 6 acres of land that is reluctant to support pretty plants and that is host to deer and squirrels and gophers. See our terraces and the little dry streambed? Insects abound. This praying mantis was in the garage. Obviously, he got lost. Ugh. You can lay on the tram...

Adams-Hart stuff: June 2011
http://adams-hart.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 20, 2011. March and April 2011. I love the rain. I always have. So this spring was heavenly to me. Here's a bit of what went on for us this rainy spring:. But I forgot who I was dealing with: BOYS! They all showed up and my friend Jana and I decked them all out in garbage bags (the boys that had brought their own rain gear shucked that good stuff off in favor of the garbage bags- there's the herd mentality at work for you! And they were off! This hunt has sometimes included ALL the cousins- ...

Monday, March 28, 2011. I love living here! I know I've said it bajillion times. Living in a more country setting has really changed something inside me. I feel more grateful for life. I feel more connected to nature. I feel deeply interested in what lives and grows outside. I feel more at peace. I am so grateful to live here! Here's the setting sun cradled in the cleft of the hills. What perfect placement! So, here's some of what was going on around here for the last few months. Isaiah is really into ma...

Sunday, July 3, 2011. The Grand Mesa, Cedaredge, Colorado. These aren't very good pictures- just photos from photos in a book (I don't have the originals), but here's my grandma and grandpa shortly after they got married. Isn't she beautiful? And he was just as kind, charming and full of fun and love as he looks. And also here is a photo of them on their 50th wedding anniversary. What a wonderful couple they are. And now they are together again! THAT is something to celebrate! But it was warm and sunny.

Saturday, October 23, 2010. Chase arrives at the Boston Mission home. Here he is with President and Sister Evans. For her birthday dinner she chose poor boy sandwiches and the best dessert this side of heaven, sticky toffee pudding. Deeee-licious. Isaiah bought her a gorgeous necklace for her birthday. He is getting really good at gift giving! The kitties are getting bigger all the time- and are still so adorable! It's been a quiet and nice month. We miss Chase a lot. Letters are so different fro...My wo...

Adams-Hart stuff: August 2011
http://adams-hart.blogspot.com/2011/09/august-2011.html
Monday, September 5, 2011. In happier news, this month Cliff and I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary. I first fell in love with this man when I was 16 years old and I have not been out of love since. That makes 28 years of loving him. I've been WITH him longer than I've been WITHOUT him. I'm grateful for a happy marriage to a man who does his best to fulfill my every wish. I meant to take a picture of it, but I forgot. I did, however, take a photo of this dish:. Can't exactly remember). She ord...
