I propose that by doing so, our lives will be enriched, that the world will be more peaceful and we will be better able to solve the intractable problems we face together. When we do this collectively as individuals, we will make peace with ourselves, each other and our ecosystem. If not, then none of the three is likely.

We can choose to let the chatter rule, let the winds blow, to be subject to the whims of the mind. Or we can choose to be our own master, to tame the wind. In a still mind, truth and peace are known. If I have ever reached a still state of mind it was short-lived, but even that brief experience approaching stillness gives me faith that statement is true.
