Israel / onavo / tamid / jeffong. Laquo; what about the devs? The most mundane details of my day. June 20, 2011 by jeff ong. I realized that in my previous grandiose blog posts, i’ve failed to mention the everyday, mundane activities that take up most hours of my day. so here are the details that i’ve glazed over, and the things i’ll probably remember/miss the most. Sometimes the evening activities include exercise, with a run to the sea, or soccer in the field just south of our apartment. the former...

Zac Berlin and i have been in tel aviv for a few days, the first of the 2011 TAMID fellows, beginning to hit our stride in the work places. before jumping into the incredible experience that’s been working at a fast-paced, just-launched startup like Onavo, a brief aside:. Israel / onavo / tamid / jeffong. The most mundane details of my day. What about the devs? May 31, 2011 by jeff ong. Last night, was chatting with evan millman’s (another TAMID fellow) roommate, Jeremy. Jeremy is an engineering student Bradley University in Illinois. TAMID is an organization not just led by and for business students–the vision for TAMID ( as Mr. Zac Berlin eloquently stated. I suppose business students aren’t the only ones who can learn a thing or two from the Startup Nation.

Israel / onavo / tamid / jeffong. Laquo; diving in. What about the devs? May 25, 2011 by jeff ong. An interesting question. for someone who thinks about their future and what to do with the rest of his life, you might think i have several concrete goals written down in a specific journal with tangible action plans to achieve them over the next 15 years. of those things, i have several journals, many ideas, but few things written down i would stretch to call ‘goals’. 1 move to nyc. The Israelis (part 1) | TAMIDnate Blog
https://tamidnate.wordpress.com/2011/06/05/the-israelis-part-1
The Israelis (part 1). June 5, 2011. I arrived in Israel last week. I have been spending my time so far with family before I dive into my work with TAMID. Most of the fellows are in Israel by now, and many have started their internships. On Thursday night, we held our kickoff social event, going to a concert in Jerusalem’s Gan Sakher park featuring Rita, David D’or, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, and Hadag Nachash. Early on in the book, Rosenthal writes of an incident in which Ori Heffetz is a young m...

A journey through Israel. Laquo; Am Yisrael Chai. May 9, 2011 by zberlin. Our Internet got set up today. The guy came in, said Shalom, then opened our window and looked outside. He said something in Hebrew then left as quickly as he came. I wondered why he was looking out our window, where he had just gone, or if this guy was actually setting up our Internet. That’s what TAMID is doing here in Israel: building an infrastructure. On May 15, 2011 at 3:08 pm. On May 31, 2011 at 4:03 am. What about the devs?

Skip to main content. Skip to secondary content. Tammy's TAMID Fellowship Blog. The Social Media Series. June 30, 2011. Last week, fellow Sam Shapiro. Excitedly exclaimed that he’s a 29. Intrigued, I sat through an explanation of his newest discovery: self-confidence reaffirming (or perhaps destroying) social media website Klout. Okay, so this tool measures your supposed online “influence.” But what’s really the point of this? Why do we care? Additionally, Klout, in a partnership with social media platfo...

August 11, 2010. After 3 months in Israel, I’m back in Boston. The biggest take-away from my time there? Because of TAMD, my outlook on business and a career is inseparable from my outlook on Israel and the Jewish people. Just means a good chance. A situation with high potential for success. We succeeded, but it took work–the work of incredible people who turned the TAMID opportunity into a success story. Thank you to:. Those who coordinated the fellowship experience–Executive Director Brett Siegal...

Inspiration from Ariel Beery. July 10, 2011. Two weeks ago, we had the pleasure of meeting PresenTense. Our time with Ariel was short, but his words left a deep impression on us. He referred to thinker Clay Shirky. Who highlights two major statistics:. 200 billions hours: the amount of time Americans spend every year watching TV. 100 million hours: the amount of time of collective work that it has taken to create Wikipedia. Wikipedia, Ariel reminded us, is a project that revolutionizes world access to kn...
