Silent Partner: Early morning and what is and isn't in my head
http://www.luciepollardbranham.com/2011/12/early-morning-and-what-is-and-isnt-in.html
Friday, December 30, 2011. Early morning and what is and isn't in my head. Yesterday and it is 2:38 in the morning. Sounds like a line from a country song, who knows if it's a good one. Two days in a row, I'm awake and thoughts are running like a clear, mountain stream. Thank God. Why are you shoving the dog off the bed? I didn't. I moved my legs and off he went.". WHY are you shoving the dog off the bed? I didn't, I swear I moved my legs and he went off.". It doesn't seem to be a productive conversation...

Silent Partner: Papa Rides Shotgun
http://www.luciepollardbranham.com/2012/12/papa-rides-shotgun.html
Wednesday, December 12, 2012. It was a week of deaths, the powerfully moving and the inconseqential. Uncle Sammy, the last of the Pollard brothers died, and the Hyundai and Subaru did too, all right together. One important, two, not so much at all except. Sweetheart had gone to the mechanic's to clean out the glove boxes on Wed, he came home that night with, "I think I found a little box of Papa.". I looked at him. The gift of Hospice to us right after. He had noticed. I should have known. The man listen...

Silent Partner: The Suffering and the Grace
http://www.luciepollardbranham.com/2014/11/the-suffering-and-grace_28.html
Friday, November 28, 2014. The Suffering and the Grace. This morning I woke with the same thoughts I had gone to bed with the last three nights, the suffering and the grace in life. The hand in hand of the awfully beautiful and the beautifully awful. (Roland our hospice nurse had introduced me to that concept.). Posted by Lucie Pollard Branham. Silent Partner: July 2011
http://www.luciepollardbranham.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. The Birthday Dinner, the Bassist and the Loud Quiet. The conversation bounced off the bottles of red wine, the last okra pod, and the remaining moonshine sauce. He said to me, "What do you think? How do you feel" "You know we can't possibly take care of any but our own" "Look at the trillions we spend on the military, look at the wars, and what has happened here.". I answered him quietly. He kept talking and as he talked, he became angrier his words flying in different directions a...

Silent Partner: She Flies Through the Air with the Greatest of Seeming Ease
http://www.luciepollardbranham.com/2012/04/she-flies-through-air-with-greatest-of.html
Monday, April 16, 2012. She Flies Through the Air with the Greatest of Seeming Ease. Every day I am astounded by the women around me. By their strength and beauty, determination and limitless, if sometimes faltering, courage. All of these women laugh- - loud, long, soft, wide, appropriately and inappropriately. All of these women, I am convinced, giggle and snort with the angels. These are the women who every day, change their world, my world, this world and we all whether we know it or not, count on it.

Silent Partner: We Take Blessings Too
http://www.luciepollardbranham.com/2011/12/we-take-blessings-too.html
Saturday, December 24, 2011. We Take Blessings Too. He is standing a bit away from the front doors and ringing a bell. Each person he sees, near or far, he shouts to, "Merry Christmas". Like everyone I see, I avert my eyes and scurry past. This time I looked at him. We take blessings too. Most people don't know we take blessings too, most people just walk past and don't say 'nuthin so I can't tell 'em.". When all I needed to do was say Merry Christmas and let him give me his gift. When they weren't, they...

Silent Partner: Mama - Mother's Day of your 92nd Year
http://www.luciepollardbranham.com/2015/05/mama-mothers-day-of-your-92nd-year.html
Sunday, May 10, 2015. Mama - Mother's Day of your 92nd Year. There are a few things that I associate with my Little Mama more than others. How cool her hands were and are, on hot foreheads. How soft her voice was and is, in crisis. How steady she has always been when everyone around her is falling apart. How clearly she recognized the signs of weary school girls who needed breaks and responded with. Emergency day trips and much-needed adventures. How she trekked the neighborhood kids for miles in the snow.
