Monday, October 29, 2007. This month's theme was children. I decided to go with some things I liked to do as a child, reading and playing games. I got great inspiration from the Tim Holtz background papers, found some wonderful images and took it from there. Monday, October 22, 2007. These are for a nature themed swap, and I also combined them somewhat inadvertently with another challenge to use leaves. The background for these is fabric, which is new for me, but it was fun to work with.

I started by stamping a background stamp with Indigoblu glue, then added gold leafing over it. I had some gold L. I then edged three sides of the ATC with a gold leafing pen. Monday, 3 February 2014. On AFTCM we are doing an ongoing swap covering 12 months where we produce a pennant with a vintage theme, using basically the same background but a different image etc each month. By the end of the year we will be able to put them all together to make a banner. I had some fabric that was white so I filled a small bucket with boiling water and teabags and when it was dark enough, removed the teabags and put the fabric in overnight to stain it to a darker colour. . Sunday, March 16, 2008. The second card as done by applying bands of color direct to paper and then using lots of impress me stamps to get color. A few of them were stamped with Lumiere gold paint.
