Monday, 7 April 2014. Everything started some time ago. First it was an idea, then it were more ideas. I definitely wanted to live in the countryside, being born in the capitol of Poland, Warsaw, I was tired with city life. Well, I was working for years with horses - yes, it's possible even in the capitol city, as long the horses are racehorses! So, year ago we have found an old house in very eastern Poland, in the vilage virtually on the border with Bielarus. And here the story began.

Saturday, 14 June 2014. The house had to undergo some renovation, all the timber in the north-east part of the walls had to be changed and also we wanted a new roof - well, roof had to be done anyway, the trusses were a bit dodgy. and we didn't want to keep the cement tiles! What we wanted was a thatch. And we didn't want water reed, so commonly used nowadays - we wanted traditional straw! 15 June 2014 at 16:54.
