Amanda for all seasons. Monday, July 25, 2011. Well here's the first (long-time promised) post of projects at the house. Last fall Jared and I got a little adventurous and decided to replace the kitchen countertops. by ourselves. It all started with the KSL classifieds and a drive up to Ogden. Our future countertops - anyone recognize the material yet? They're old bowling lanes from an alley in Ogden - now closed. Sawing and sanding. and sawing and sanding. What a unique countertop! I love the idea!

Amanda for all seasons. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Things are about to get crazy in our house. once again. We started tearing out floors last week and found a time capsule under the carpet. From one layer to the next decades were revealed. We're about halfway done with all of the demo - anyone wanting a sore back, feel free to come by anytime this week. The 90's - I'm so glad this carpet is gone. food shaggy carpet = super gross. Also, does the shag edge remind anyone else of the van from Dumb and Dumber?

November 15, 2012. No Work and All Play. Tan took a half day at work so the four of us (Hannah too! The holidays are by far the best time to visit this joint. They have a huge aquarium filled with elephant sized fishies, popcorn, crafts, games, rides and pictures with Santa all for FREE! As in no money! The boys were in heaven and Hannah and I had fun too. Gunnar particularly ejoyed his time with Santa and we thoroughly enjoyed the picture we got of him. November 7, 2012. November 2, 2012.

August 15, 2013. The reunion with dad was the highlight of the trip! We had so much fun by ourselves but we sure love and missed daddy! Surprise surprise. The weather got too hot so the kids and I decided to book it to the coast. We spent about four weeks there. Tanman showed up halfway through the trip and we were sure excited to see him! April 10, 2012. Oh what a day it was to celebrate this year! A few weeks ago, we spent two weeks in the golden state of my heart! We brought friends with us to the Del Mar house for the first half and then skipped it to my parent's for the rest of the holiday. Amanda for all seasons. Friday, October 16, 2009. Grouchy when I'm hungry. a fair warning to all. I've been sitting at my desk for the last 4 hours while one, that's right, one cabinet is being installed in our office. I've been starving for the last 2 hours. How can it seriously take 4 hours to install ONE cabinet? I'm chewing gum, drinking water and just trying to be patient.
