Tanner Journal

Party of Five.ish. Monday, August 10, 2015. 4th of July. Charleston, SC. Our big trip this Summer was over Independence Day. And what better place to go than Charleston. None of us had been there and we had a great time enjoying the sites and learning more about our nation's history. Art project, making flags. We got in late at night with some tired kiddos. Riding the Ferry to Fort Sumter. Fort Sumter - Where the Civil War began. Cannons of all sizes. Sitting under an enormous Oak tree behind the house.

Tanner Journal: January 2015

http://tannerds.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Monday, January 26, 2015. December was a great month! Our own snowman. I just gave them the idea and they did the rest! We got creative with waffles and Mark made the nativity. She loves putting all the jewelry on at the same time. Mark did this growing up and we are continuing it. My first time making them without Grandma Tanner's help. Visiting Daddy at work for lunch. Elena "decorated" our counter. She also put some on Christine's crib. Sleeping under the tree. New PJs from Grandma Hansen. The girls e...

Tanner Journal: February 2015

http://tannerds.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 22, 2015. January was an up and down month for us. Mostly up, but some down. The girls enjoyed the rest of their time off school and we were even able to go to the park. Sampling the whipping cream. We got to spend a few days with some old friends from Texas which was so great! They had a cabin for the weekend up in North Georgia. It was priceless. Afterwards she said she had the thought, "You look like my sister. you are my sister! A fun sister lunch. The nurses singing Happy Birthday.

Tanner Journal: July 2015

http://tannerds.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html

Friday, July 10, 2015. We had a great start to our summer, playing, swimming, camping and just having fun together. Artist in the making. We do a little informal Summer school together and have fun reading and learning. I don't usually take picture, but here are a few working with math manipulatives. The other main thing we did was swim team. All 3 girls participated and did a great job. E&A even got to swim in a few of the meets! We love our little fishes. Everyone had fun climbing. Where it all began.

Sunday, August 3, 2014. May - A Month of Celebrations and Visitors. May was a fun and crazy month. Adriana finished Kindergarten! We had a few nieces come visit and some of Mark's family. And, we celebrated Mark and Sarah's birthdays, and Mother's day. Oh, and a wedding. It was a great kickoff to Summer. Christine has fun pushing her dolls, or sisters around. Adriana and her friend Gavin after their Kindergarten musical program. Mother's day breakfast in bed. Their favorite place to play. Abigail has bee...

Tanner Journal: April... the rest

http://tannerds.blogspot.com/2015/05/april-rest.html

Monday, May 11, 2015. This has been quite a busy and fun month! Here are a few more of the month. After taking piano for 6 weeks, Adriana preformed in her first recital. She did a fabulous job and was so brave! Playing in the rain after church! Warming up on the couch after drying off. We made our own armor of God. The girls loved trying it on. I love how everyone got out in the rain, even Christine :). May 13, 2015 at 12:11 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Where it all began. A Blog About Nothing.

Aaron, Megan, Molly,& Colby. Saturday, June 5, 2010. Wow I don't even know why I blog. Is it already June? Nearly 2 months and I have not done any posts. We have been up to a lot of fun. Again, I am going to post a million pictures. We are loving the weather and playing in our yard. These pictures are in no particular order. Family picture. I think it is impossible to get the kids looking and smiling at the camera at the same time. I am a bit biased but they really are so stinking cute! Well my house is ...

Blah Blah Blah: October 2010

http://enemyemily.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Tuesday, October 12, 2010. A tad behind, eh? Update on my life. All is good. Work was really busy during the back to school rush. Now, it's empty. Here's a list of a few things I've done lately. I went fishing a week or so ago with Dad. I caught SIX fish. Kept three, threw three back. Dad got a few fish too. Don't feel bad about me out-fishing him, Maya brought him a dead fish on their walk the next day. Thoughtful dog, eh? I went Rock climbing for the first time. It was at an indoor rock wall. Huffman House: I'm still alive!

http://thehuffmanfam.blogspot.com/2014/10/im-still-alive.html

Tuesday, October 21, 2014. I was in dreamland the first three months of my new baby's life and when four months hit, I was tired! Everyday I felt exhausted and overwhelmed. I decided to sleep train him to help with my tiredness. After a month of literally trying and him still waking up at night crying for hours- yes, hours. my friend lent me her book which has become a dream come true! Either way, it worked on Kori. He is now sleeping from 7:30pm to 6:30am everyday. Let us know our worth in simply being.

http://molletes.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

A Change of Climate. Have you met these guys before? I like making new friends, especially with pesty kind of creatures because you just never know when they'll come to your rescue, but I haven't quite figured out these guys: Box Elder bugs. I more feel sorry for them than anything because they just wander all day and have nothing meaningful to do, like ants or whatever other bug does meaningful stuff. Like bees maybe? What productive task could I give them to help improve their quality of life? It also ...

Huffman House: Successful People

http://thehuffmanfam.blogspot.com/2015/01/successful-people.html

Thursday, January 29, 2015. The successful person has the habit of doing the things failures don't like to do. They don't like doing them either necessarily. But their disliking is subordinated to the strength of their purpose." E.M. Gray. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). And I quote. (imagine my fingers making quotations). Our behavior is a function of our decisions, not our conditions." Stephen Covey. We are the Huffmans, we love our kids, the beach, and ice cream on Fridays. The Total Money Makeover.

A Reel Opinion

Wednesday, July 27, 2011. This is my first post of the new direction of my blog. So for those who don't know, I'm changing the direction of my blog to review movies I've recently seen. They may not all be new movies, just ones I have an opinion about and have recently watched. I figured Jessie has our life pretty much blogged out, so I can do my own thing. So on to the review. And was it enough for Abram just to master that concept? Overall "Super 8" was "super gr8! Sunday, April 17, 2011. It's like rain...

Welcome to Tanner Edwards. If you are looking for a HARD HITTING, HARD WORKING, PASSIONATE Ball Player, "here I am"! 1B and 3B SWITCH HITTER. My name is Tanner Edwards. I had the good fortune to be born and raised in the Foothills of the North Carolina Mountains. There I have been blessed with the opportunity to sample all sports and outdoor activities; so I like to say I am a self-anointed sportsman! Like any farm, we also have ponds and streams so I get to fish when time allows!
