Monday, July 07, 2008. With the house remodel at a pausing point I realized I need to take some "after" pictures and post them up here. Stay tuned. Jake took his first steps today at a park. I was jumping up and down like a cheerleader and everyone was watching. I mean he took like 30 steps and was turning corners. It was so fun! I was a proud mama! Sunday, August 20, 2006. Well, Richard survived hand-foot-mouth disease this week and the parents live to tell about it. Poor little guy! I've never seen him not want to eat or drink a thing. Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Chris and I got away for 3 full days without kids last week believe it or not! We ventured down to the San Luis Valley which is in Southern CO by the Sand Dunes. We stayed at a ranch that is run by the Nature Conservancy with one of Chris' landlords he works for and his brother. The four of us were fully educated about what the Nature Conservancy has done to preserve land in the valley. We really enjoyed hiking and eating some great meals! Posted by JBoston @ 2:19 PM.

Thursday, September 14, 2006. Richard's 1st birthday was Mon Sept 11th and he had a great day! Pretty much everyone in Chris' family came over and we had a great dinner and party. I bought Richard a vanilla cake with lots of icing from Whole Foods and they put blueberries on top in the shape of a number 1. Monday, November 10, 2008. Two posts in one day - look out! Here are what are new doors look like.it's fantastic! Our new carpet is hard to appreciate over a picture but it sure is great and overdue! Where Richard is standing is right by our front door - a closet. Then, a closet in Jake's room and a view from the hallway upstairs - you get an idea of the new wood trim throughout. Tuesday, April 25, 2006. Thought I'd share a few photos of our trip back east. Richard and I relaxed and boy was he entertained with all his aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins. Uncle Joe came down for the day and he also met Granpa Jez. The photo of us w/the tulips is on Pearl St.on my 34th birthday. I'm not feeling old at all!
