http://thegreatestpoems.blogspot.com/2008/05/endymion-keats.html
An Archive of the GREATEST Poems ever written! Thursday, May 22, 2008. The young Endymion sleeps Endymion's sleep;. The shepherd-boy whose tale was left half told! The solemn grove uplifts its shield of gold. To the red rising moon, and loud and deep. The nightingale is singing from the steep;. It is midsummer, but the air is cold;. Can it be death? Alas, beside the fold. A shepherd's pipe lies shattered near his sheep. In the moonlight gleams a marble white,. On which I read: "Here lieth one whose name.

With portraitures of huntsman, hawk, and hound. And the hurt deer. He listeneth to the lark,. Whose song comes with the sunshine through the dark. Of painted glass in leaden lattice bound;. He listeneth and he laugheth at the sound,. Then writeth in a book like any clerk. He is the poet of the dawn, who wrote. Subscribe in a reader.

An Archive of the GREATEST Poems ever written! Friday, May 30, 2008. Can you see me,. Through your rose-tinted glasses? You gaze at the world around you,. As it lays burning, dying. And all you can do is smile. Can you see me. Through your own eyes? Do you view the world as yourself,. Or do you follow the latest trend? Can you see me. In what you call the light? Are you sure you are walking in the twilight path,. Instead of crawling on the dark road upon you? Can you see me. Can you see a person.

An Archive of the GREATEST Poems ever written! Friday, May 23, 2008. REVISITING BRUNSWICK - PARKER CLEAVELAND. Among the many lives that I have known,. None I remember more serene and sweet,. More rounded in itself and more complete,. Than his, who lies beneath this funeral stone. These pines, that murmur in low monotone,. These walks frequented by scholastic feet,. Were all his world; but in this calm retreat. For him the Teacher's chair became a throne. With fond affection memory loves to dwell.

http://thegreatestpoems.blogspot.com/2008/05/melodious-seas-milton.html
An Archive of the GREATEST Poems ever written! Thursday, May 22, 2008. Melodious seas - MILTON. I pace the sounding sea-beach and behold. How the voluminous billows roll and run,. Upheaving and subsiding, while the sun. Shines through their sheeted emerald far unrolled,. And the ninth wave, slow gathering fold by fold. All its loose-flowing garments into one,. Plunges upon the shore, and floods the dun. Pale reach of sands, and changes them to gold. So in majestic cadence rise and fall.
