CrochetDad Ramblings: 2011-12
http://crochetdad.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Ramblings of a Man Who Crochets. When I started this blog, I thought it would be about my crochet, and it has been, mostly, but through the years, I've added some non-crochet topics as well. This entry is one of those entries. But not far. We found a lot in a 55 manufactured home community about 10 miles from our current house. Here are some pictures showing the progression of the building process. Here is the lot as it was when we purchased it in March, 2011. Our view out the back of the lot. The house ...

Robin's Crocheted Projects: Year's End
http://robinsnook.blogspot.com/2008/01/years-end.html
A site to post my completed crochet project and occassionaly other crafts. Saturday, January 05, 2008. I know it's a new year but I want to go back and reflect on 2007. My middle sister, Charlotte moved in with me after Mom's death. It's amazing how often our family keeps asking how are we getting along! I remind them that the house is large enough that we aren't tripping over each other. Virdie and her family moved into their house back in April. I spent a week visiting with them over Memorial Day.

Ramblings of a Man Who Crochets. Very well, I just started crocheting to see what would come to my head. This time, with a little forethought, I decided to crochet the bracelet in the round for a more finished look. Here's the result, in Navy, Pale Blue, Off-white #3 crochet thread using a 2.0 mm hook. Ramblings of a Man Who Crochets. I ran out of brown. Wanting to make another hat in my newest design, I found two partial balls of brown cotton yarn. Well, I ran out of brown yarn. Not wanting to add to my growing stash of partial. Balls/skeins of yarn (and save a trip to the yarn store), I found some black cotton yarn and continued with the hat. The effect was pleasing, at least to me. I also changed the brim to match the stitch pattern of the crown. Links to this post. I haven't finished the pattern ye...
