http://alaskapaynes.blogspot.com/2011/11/portland-part-5-last.html
Friday, November 4, 2011. Portland - Part 5 (the last). We loved the warm weather while we were in Portland. One warm sunny day, we rode the train to the end of the free zone to play in this awesome fountain. For our last adventure, grandma and I took the kids to the Grotto. We loved looking around at all the beautiful trees and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The kids loved this maze. You start at the entrance and. Then it winds you all around until you reach the center. Portland - Part 5 (the last).

The Alaska Paynes: Portland - Part 4
http://alaskapaynes.blogspot.com/2011/11/portland-part-4.html
Thursday, November 3, 2011. Portland - Part 4. The weather was beautiful in Portland and we spent one day enjoying the fall weather. Grandma and I took the kids though a corn maze. They loved the HUGE hay-bale pyramid built outside the maze. The kids were a little unsure about the maze until we got started. They loved being able to choose which way to go and seeing all the corn stalks all around them. There were fun things to stop and see as we made our way through the maze. Only $1 a head!

Saturday, August 29, 2009. As a kid we used to head out to a locally owned church camp called Camp LaDaSa. We decided to head out there again this summer. We walked around and looked at the cabins that we stayed in when I was a kid camping with the young women. The girls LOVED the cabins. Korbin just loved getting a ride from grandpa Max. And tried to crawl every time he could. The girls loved walking around the railroad tracks with dad,. Checking out the dock,. And cooking on a campfire. But the water g...

Saturday, July 31, 2010. Just another day on the Kenai River. Sunday, July 25, 2010. We went for a little hike on a trail in Gridwood. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun. If you look really close, you'll see some people up on this cliff overlooking the water. One of our favorite things about this hike was riding in the hand tram over the water. Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Kara is in Joy School again this year and has been having a lot of fun. This is a picture of her during the unit called "Spontaneous Delight". It is good to see that Kara loves her baby brother. Who can say "no" to this face? Korbin is a lucky guy to have two big sisters who love him. Kara and Kassi each invited a friend over for a PPPP party. Pizza, Pajamas, Popcorn, and a Princess movie. Our little Korbin loves to stick out his tongue.isn't he a cutie? A little winter walk.

The Alaska Paynes: Portland - Part 3
http://alaskapaynes.blogspot.com/2011/11/portland-part-3.html
Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Portland - Part 3. We surprised the kids by spending the weekend at the Great Wolf Lodge. The kids all had a blast swimming and going down the water slides. We were amazed at how long the kids could stay in the water. We met up with Grandma and Uncle Adam to go to the Forestry Museum. The kids enjoyed a virtual white river rafting trip. Then they tried out some of the heavy machinery. And we ended with a little "safari". On the way to the car we had to stop and see the train.

The Alaska Paynes: June 2009
http://alaskapaynes.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 26, 2009. More Odds and Ends. Our little man has started to make a new face. Instead of sticking out his tongue, he now sucks in his lips. No matter what he does, he's still a little cutie. He had to go to the hospital recently for some breathing problems and although he had an oxygen tube taped to his face and an IV with a splint, he was still his good natured little self. Ed out pretty cute. Monday, June 22, 2009. Memorial Day and Soccer. Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Monday, June 8, 2009. Kara ...
