Pondering, parenting, poetry and prose. What I’m Writing Linky. A tale of two dodos – #WhatImWriting. Long, long ago, in a land far, far away…. Oh ok, five years ago in a house down the road and round the corner… I used to write another blog. My husband and I had a babywares business (called Little Dodo – which goes. https://taraborinwrites.com/2017/01/02/a-word-for-2017
Truths from the Trenches. A Word for 2017. January 2, 2017. January 2, 2017. This morning as I browsed some favourite bloggers, I noticed that Lindseay Mead of A Design So Vast had written a post about her word for 2017. In the final weeks of 2016, there was a word that popped into my mind over and over. An idea that intrigued me. I wrote about it here. Daily practice. Or, for the purpose of this exercise, just “practice” will do. And her daily blogging, as well as blogger Elan Morgan. Liked by 1 person.

Daily Practice | Tara Borin Writes
https://taraborinwrites.com/2016/11/02/daily-practice
Truths from the Trenches. November 2, 2016. I spend a lot of time thinking about daily practices: how to fit them in and how they might change me. If I practiced something every day for one year, how would my experience of that thing be at the end of the year? How would it be going forward? What is important enough to me to practice every day? To be more mindful, more present with whatever arises? Who read my blog will keep me accountable. If I keep showing up, the words will find me. I enjoyed your blog...

January 8, 2017. The powdery snow and sunshine made for a perfect morning of sledding with our dearest friends. It felt especially good to be out in the fresh air after surviving last night’s bout of the stomach bug–this week was a doozy! But tomorrow begins a new week and my sweet girl will turn three! I can hardly believe it. Post 355 of 365). Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window). Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Click to share on Google (Opens in new window). Poetess, book lover, chemist, writer, mother, artist, HSP… wild woman. Fiction books I love. The Gallery (my portfolio). Overwhelm, publishing and our favourite children’s books.
