So far this morning: September 2016
http://sofarthismorning.blogspot.com/2016_09_01_archive.html
So far this morning. Thursday, September 29, 2016. September on the needles. There has been some knitting going on. I'm slowly working on this. Very slowly I'm afraid. The pattern is available on Ravelry. I think it was $4. It is very similar to a lot of the "Wingspan" type patterns out there. Anyone else knitting or crocheting? It is the time of year I can get quite excited about yarn and needles. Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Tea Stands for Tuesday - 9/27/16. Washed, lightly sanded and painted with two ...

So far this morning. Monday, March 28, 2016. What to do with those eggs. What are you going to do with all those hard boiled eggs? We didn't color any but the rest of the family did. Keeping the tradition going. They want to share some of the bounty with us. Here's my mid century egg plate, in the "Atomic" pattern. Of course I will fill it with deviled eggs. I also have a recipe for Indian Egg Curry. Http:/ cookeryindexer.blogspot.com/2011/04/potato-egg-curry.html. Sunday, March 27, 2016. March 27, 2016.

So far this morning: Cleaning on my mind
http://sofarthismorning.blogspot.com/2016/12/things.html
So far this morning. Thursday, December 29, 2016. Cleaning on my mind. Do you know, the more I look into life, the more things it seems to me I can successfully lack—and continue to grow happier. How many kinds of food I do not need, nor cooks to cook them, how much curious clothing nor tailors to make it, how many books that I never read, and pictures that are not worth while! David Grayson quote from "Adventures in Friendship". Does the New Year signal a cleaning spree for you? I,m ready to throw it al...

So far this morning: Using lemons for lemon curd
http://sofarthismorning.blogspot.com/2016/12/using-lemons-for-lemon-curd.html
So far this morning. Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Using lemons for lemon curd. We have lemons. Oh boy do we have lemons. A prolific tree by the Bay and another one on the property by the River. I made some lemon curd. The recipe makes about a cup. I haven't tried doubling it so not sure that would work. It is so easy I just make a cup as we use it or if I want to give some away. I don't normally the microwave for much except reheating but I've used the recipe for years and it is always successful. How l...

So far this morning. Tuesday, August 30, 2016. Tea Stands for Tuesday - 8/30/16. We were at the river for a few days but Tuesday morning finds us back by the Bay. I've still been checking thrift shops to add to our collection of colorful china. You've seen the cup and bowl but the tea canister is newish and greener than it appears in the photo. There are also new blossoms on our entryway arbor. I thought we just had jasmine growing there so this was a pretty surprise. Now it is time to visit Elizabeth.
