a Rice life: March 2014
http://rickanderin.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Happy Birthday, Griffin! This time last year. This seems to be a reoccurring theme in the few posts I make time for these days. This would be the last scariest moment after a day full of 'em. Like the moment when I got a phone call from a St. Mary's nurse as I closed my eyes to take a final nap just after my mom dropped me off from my pre-op blood work. The phone call that said I need to return to the hospital. immediately. And the moment I saw Rick's face less than 30 minutes ...

a Rice life: Love conquers ALL.
http://rickanderin.blogspot.com/2014/02/love-conquers-all.html
Friday, February 21, 2014. One year ago today, Rick. Shortly after posting this on facebook, I realized how big our support group truly is. Sometimes it takes me reading my old posts to remember how heavy all of this weighed last year, a year ago yesterday. Today, my neurosurgeon informed me that he and the radiologist are leaning on the side that this "spot" on my brain is more likely a. Something I was born with and will have the rest of my life. They said it could possibly still be a low grade bra...

a Rice life: May 2013
http://rickanderin.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Happy 8 weeks Baby G! I can't believe Griffin is 8 weeks today. I can't believe how amazing Cooper is with him, with being a big brother, with understanding mommy doesn't always have enough sleep or patience or time in a day. I can't believe how absolutely amazing the Infant Room teachers are at my school. Whatever special fairy dust they are sprinkling on Griffin to make him the best sleeper, they should bottle because they would make BILLIONS. I can't believe how absolutely bless...

a Rice life: August 2013
http://rickanderin.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 19, 2013. Mountain Song Inn: A Slice of Heaven. I met my husband in the Spring of 2006, March I believe it was. In June, I packed my one suitcase and moved to Denver, Colorado for a summer long mission trip. Rick, my boyfriend of 8ish weeks, came to visit me and we really have been in love since. Relaxing is not my strong suit, on any account. All of my brain tumor drama, definitely helped me to slow down, readjust my priorities and remember what is truly important in life, but it didn...

a Rice life: It is not a toomah!
http://rickanderin.blogspot.com/2013/02/it-is-not-toomah.html
Friday, February 22, 2013. It is not a toomah! Where does one start with news like I have to share? I am going to be frank, I don't think there is a good way to drop this bomb. Honestly, we still aren't sure what the bomb we are dropping really is. so I guess I will just say it. I have a "cell mass" on my brain. Actually, make that 2. I have 2 "cell masses" on my brain. We just found out about the second one. Get yourself together so you can really read what's happening. Here this should help. Dr Shankar...
