Tuesday, December 1, 2009. BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE. Well I think winter has arrived early in the South! December 1st and it's 29 outside! I hope this isn't a sign for what's to come the rest of the month! This is also the first day of my December Daily project so since it's sooooo cold I decided to take pics of the beautiful frost we had this morning. Does anyone else feel crazy? The rants of a stay at home mom who is trying to keep her sanity! Sunday, December 5, 2010. Of trying to get that "perfect" Christmas card. Photo As if the past 6 years weren't hard enough with only 1 and 2 children, this year we have been blessed with a third. Having an 11 month old to try to photograph is sure to be an adventure to say the least! Thank goodness I only have to take the pictures! I have already ordered 4 photobooks. One of my favorite cards so far is this one.

Maury Draper is another of my heroes. I don't know Christie Erwin at all, and don't really know Maury all that well, but I love them. They are amazing women who are doing amazing things in their everyday lives, and I'm pretty sure they deserve the Congressional Medal of Honor or something. They are both foster moms. We ate with our good friends, Kelly and Norma, while they were visiting and Norma taught Pop how to make pico de gallo which he loved so much that he made more and carried it back on the train with him. He was so very embarrassed, but it was hilarious. Love you, Pop. What a wonderful, wonderful tribute to Pop! He sounded like a hoot! I love the fart story! My first Razorback angel.
