. Silent mourning
. Even the sea is quiet
. Shrinking back from the estuary
. Bleakness clouds my senses
. No sounds can echo
. Nor light penetrate
. A mist engulfs all
. A living purgatory
. Salt stings my eyes
. But I cannot curse the sea air. Apr 26th, 2015. Dark bristles tickle my eyelashes. Though rivers still flow seaward. A buzzing in my ears heralds a kings arrival.
