Looking back to our departure from Chichen Itza, the day went really well. We left from a campground that looked like an RV show with 20 rigs and associated vehicles in it. The plan was to boondock in a baseball field but they decided to have a game and we were lucky to find this tiny RV Park and our staff were able to pack us all in. MERIDA AND CHICHEN ITZA. We had an easy drive from the Club Nautica to the campground at Merida, even the roads were in good repair. Merida is said to be very safe and friendly which is what we experienced. The main square downtown is surrounded by several market places and good places to eat. Big Timber

We left Hebgen Lake in the rain heading for Big Timber. We decided to go through the park instead of the mud at the construction on Hwy 191. It takes a little longer but is much more scenic going through the north part of the park. Is about an hours drive east of Bozeman on I90. It is a small mountain town on the prairie surrounded by snow capped mountains. It got it's name from the huge cottonwood trees that grow in the area. We found a nice campground in Moyie Springs about seven miles northeast of Bonners Ferry. It is the Twin Rivers Resort and is situated at the confluence of the Kootenai and Moyie rivers.
