He remembered going with his mother as a child to the restaurant in which she worked and waiting on the tables. The customers really liked him. Every saturday afternoon from about 12:30 till 5 there is social tennis for all members of a reasonable standard. The Taroona Tennis Club will be holding junior Hot Shots clinic for 6 weeks in November/December this year. If you are interested in either participating or helping running please contact either Dianne Balding or Ailsa Richard.

This animal was called Taroona by the aboriginals who s. Range included what is now the suburb of Taroona in south eastern. The shell of these small molluscs. Is usually oval-shaped and made up of eight plates fitting against each other like the steel plates of a suit of armour. Hence a common name for its shell is 'Coat-of-mail'.
