The Polar for the Tartan 3500, showing maximum sailing speed in eight particular wind strengths (the 18 knot is extrapolated) at given wind angles. I don't know what sail configurations there were that were able to produce these results, but I know I cannot re-produce them as yet (Its still a goal).
