The Toolsons: April 2015
http://thetoolsons.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Over a month after closing on our house, we are actually moving in. We've been so busy getting it ready, and to be honest, we are going to be living in the middle of the work for a few more weeks after moving in. But we are really excited. I had a girls day with London today since my sweet SIL Rachel took Ty. We packed up the house and then ran house errands (not an ideal girls day), but London loved the attention and lack of attacking from Ty. She was my good helper:. We can do this!

The Toolsons: July 2014
http://thetoolsons.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
We start potty training. Heaven help us. I've got treat jars for Ty, a large pitcher of Crystal Light (his favorite "juice"), new Cars. Underwear, and his very own toilet seat (which we've been using on and off for the last few weeks). I don't like my house dirty. I'm a little OCD and I know this is going to be tough. But Ty has been asking to go on the toilet more and is motivated by all of his friends going to the bathroom. SO tomorrow is the day. Wish us luck! Maybe my reward for surviving potty train...

The Toolsons: May 2015
http://thetoolsons.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
When my friend Amber bought and renovated a house, she recorded on her blog the whole progression of the house and I loved reading about it. I thought I'd do the same here, so I have a record of it, but it may be only interesting to me! Warning - there are a lot of pictures. But seriously, this house has come a long way (though we still have many projects to do! Here's what the family room looked like, the first time we saw it (yikes! I finished painting the rest of the house (many long, late nights ther...

Baby Alice is Here! My sister had her baby, Alice Rae, last week! She was induced the day after her due date and my mom was able to be there with her for the whole delivery. She was tiny with that big bump:. Going home from the hospital! I think this is my favorite picture so far. She is so sweet and I can't wait to meet and snuggle her. Welcome to the world, Alice! We are so glad you're here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). LIVE UNITED Utah County. Baby Alice is Here!

Since we are staying in California now for some time, we'd better make the most of it. It's hard to beat beach days like this at the beginning of March:. Good thing we have such fun friends here that are really like family. London had sand EVERYWHERE after this trip:. I love beach days at Santa Cruz. I really don't go often enough. We figured it was the last Saturday before we closed on the house and we should enjoy it before the major work started! Now that we will have more space, come visit us! Today ...

The Toolsons: November 2014
http://thetoolsons.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
The Season of Giving. This is a true,. Beautiful Christmas story that happened exactly 100 years ago during World War I. It is so touching, and I love this ad from Sainsbury's, with the message at the end. We're blessed with so much, it's a wonderful season to remember to give to others. Instead of Running a Marathon. Our lighting isn't great on these pictures- something about the sun being behind us. But you can see how beautiful the day was! We left from Treasure Island (I had never been there before!
