Friday, March 27, 2009. Jay was so excited when he found out Nana was coming for a visit. We all were! He kept asking over and over and over again when she was coming. Is it now, Mom? Is it time to get Nana? He would say. Then five minutes later, ". Is it now, Mom? Are we going to get Nana now? He told us he would play golf with her like he did last time and he was eager to get ready "Nana's Room". We counted down the days by how many morning wakeups before the big day. Today, finally, was the big day!

Wednesday, March 17, 2010. One Good Day of Snow. We had ONE and ONLY ONE really good day of snow in February (we wanted MORE! February 16th. Brian had to trudge off to work, but Jaydon and I made the most of it! Good thing.by the afternoon of the next day, the snow had all melted. I built a snowman (it's my biggest one to date). Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Our playgroup visited Fire Station No. 1 in Old Wethersfield today and had an absolutely fantastic time! I can't say enough about how wonderful the firefighters were.genuinely good-hearted people and so happy to share their knowledge with the kids. It was also very generous of them to spend time with us considering the Fire Station is run by an all volunteer force. The firefighters that met with us were there during their own free time.
