Looks like the actress has her commands down pat. The camera person and director need to work on their synchronization. Prudence has an A going at midterm. Powered by LiveJournal.com.

Bouquet of Parentheses

Unpretentious and Early-Blooming: ( ) ). She Said She Said. July 4th, 2008. Learning from Coach Dad. On Wednesday I accompanied Dad to his team’s summer workout and subsequent hangout at Ice Cream Shack. It was really the first opportunity I’ve had to see Dad in Coach mode (outside of him coaching me, of course). Listening to the way he interacts with his runners, even for those 15 minutes or so, I was impressed with his unwavering style that demands respect. I will tell a student who has an excuse that...

Ellen Foster - Bouquet of Parentheses
http://bouqtofprnthses.livejournal.com/65230.html
She Said She Said. By Kaye Gibbons (who lives in. Is narrated by Ellen herself an eleven-year-old girl telling the tale of how she escaped abusive family situations to end up with her new mama in foster care. I read most of. My students who read it were not impressed (of course, two of those students never got past the first chapter or so) despite the fact that it is only about 120 pages long. I can understand why it was a hard book for the kids to get into. It’s a little hard to keep track of at first.

When You are Engulfed in Flames - Bouquet of Parentheses

When You are Engulfed in Flames. She Said She Said. When You are Engulfed in Flames. Okay, if I do this book review I will be caught upuntil I finish the book I’m reading now. Which should happen tonight, actually. When You are Engulfed in Flames. Another book from a local author! I’ve read like 10 books featuring Raleigh/Durham since moving here. I never read a book about. In all the years I lived there. What’s the deal? David Sedaris (of This American Life. Fame) grew up in. Before moving on to. Althou...

Eleanor - Bouquet of Parentheses
http://bouqtofprnthses.livejournal.com/63876.html
She Said She Said. I love the day every semester when I play "Eleanor Rigby" for my English I classes and the response is "this junk is hot, brah.". If you are not familiar with slang, that means they like it.). Leave a Witty Quip. 5/18/08 06:07 pm (UTC). Where do they all come from? 5/24/08 06:42 pm (UTC). Aw, I'm in Texas. I miss black people. Immaturity - Bouquet of Parentheses
http://bouqtofprnthses.livejournal.com/63038.html
She Said She Said. If I had to give standardized tests everyday in my first period, my blood pressure would be through the roof. Probably of these students are quite immature in that they are unable to control their behavior for a 90 minute class period. Blurt out, giggle, walk around, or hit the person next to them. It’s really like they are still in third grade. It is not realistic to deal with every problem behavior that arises from this immaturity. They are not malicious, they are just childish.
