Essential Advice for Your First Draft – Shereen Malherbe
https://shereenmalherbe.com/2016/11/03/essential-advice-for-your-first-draft
Writer and author of Jasmine Falling. Essential Advice for Your First Draft. I do agree with this completely. I don’t edit at all during the first draft. I write everyday on one master document with no chapters only a few subheadings. The beautiful torture of the writing of the first draft does not have to be a painful experience. From what I understand, the key to getting the story down is to stay at it, moving forward to the finish. November 3, 2016. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Writer and author of Jasmine Falling. Why I began Literary Revolution Writers Group. Writing is an often isolated endeavor. Ticking away in the back of your mind as you fight with your own thoughts and articulate them to become a polished, quality book that succinctly portrays an alternative view of the world. It is a dream of many to write. When I began to write, I was shy about telling people that I was writer. What does it mean to be a writer? It is hard to find support when you are writing to represe...

Writer and author of Jasmine Falling. Review: Stained by Abda Khan. Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick tock. Stained is a story of a beautiful intelligent young British Pakistani woman whose life’s aspirations and dreams are put on hold due to the scandalous actions of a supposedly trusted member of society. This is only the surface summary of the story. The book delves into weighty and sensitive issues that those involved and those who look on, wish to sweep under the rug rather than face it head on. Is also ...

I Put The Ass in Sassy. Daily Ramblings and Other Nonsensical Postings. January 27, 2015. Being alone and never finding love with another person. I had it once and not a day goes by that I ask myself, “Why did you let him go? And I’ll never really understand why. Sure I spent a lot of time with him. But I was young! I’m not sure. So again I ask myself, why did I let that go? Would he ever love me the same? Probably not. But will anyone ever love me as much as he did? Now that this stupid fear is out in t...

Writer and author of Jasmine Falling. 5 ways to become a bookworm. I still remember the books from my childhood. That children’s encyclopedia with King Tut on the front. I used to constantly read through the facts in that battered old book. The Bouncing Buffalo, where an antique buffalo’s head comes to life, bringing excitement to two children (less creepier than it sounds, I promise). December 15, 2016. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
