With snow storms approaching, it's time for a good winter dish! 1 onion, chopped. 4 cups chicken broth. 2 cans (white, pinto, or northern) beans (not rinsed helps it thicken). 2 Tb fresh cilantro or parsley. 1 Tb lime juice. Bring to a boil and simmer 10 mins. 1/4 cup cold water. Mix until smooth and stir into chili. 2 cups cubed, cooked chicken. Bring to a boil, cook and stir 2 minutes or until thickend. 1/2 c brown sugar.

Entertainment for your Tastebuds and Brainbuds. Fast meals - Cheap crafts/games. 1 packet taco seasoning. 1/2 cup sour cream. 1 can refried beans. 2 cups shredded cheese. Roll out pie crust into two - 9" pie plates. Prick with a fork and bake at 425 for 10 minutes. Spread refried beans across bottom of pie (if you heat them for 1-2 minutes in the microwave they'll spread easier). Brown hamburger and mix in taco seasoning. Spread on top of beans. Dob sour cream across top of meat. 1 tsp baking powder.
