Baking: From Loaves to Buns
http://annabelchau.blogspot.com/2010/04/from-loaves-to-buns.html
Sharing the fun stuff a mum and her gal can make out of baking. Friday, April 30, 2010. From Loaves to Buns. These cheese buns are filled with grated cheddar, brushed with egg wash and drizzled with more grated cheddar cheese. This loaf had cinnamon sugar swirled inside and baked in a silicon bread pan. Both are made from the "Basic Dough" recipe from "Bread Code". I substituted 100gm of bread flour with wholemeal flour. Posted by Sabrina Chau. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sharing the fun stuff a mum and her gal can make out of baking. Saturday, May 8, 2010. Evolution of the red bean bun. Dough has been improved, and pa prefers it without the slits at the side. Red bean paste has got to be my papa's favourite filling of all buns. So here's what my mom did for him. Thanks to gracekitchencorner.blogspot.com for the recipe! It's got the thumbs-up from the connoiseur of red bean buns! Posted by Sabrina Chau. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Add it to your blog.

Baking: If I can do it, so can you!
http://annabelchau.blogspot.com/2009/03/if-i-can-do-it-so-can-you.html
Sharing the fun stuff a mum and her gal can make out of baking. Friday, March 27, 2009. If I can do it, so can you! Ma's been practicing making cinnamon rolls on her own lately. She used to need my father or my cousin to help her bake them. But I realised that she has been doing them single-handedly. So I figured that if she can do it, maybe . I could? Here's my first cut at rolling out the dough. Here it is now, all rolled up nicely. And cutting them into 1 and a half inch thick cinnamon rolls. Whew!

Baking: The Fairest of Them All
http://annabelchau.blogspot.com/2009/04/fairest-of-them-all.html
Sharing the fun stuff a mum and her gal can make out of baking. Saturday, April 4, 2009. The Fairest of Them All. You gotta agree with me that this has got to be the prettiest looking cinnamon rolls Ma has ever made. The one on the right is waiting to go into the oven. You probably won't be able to make any comparisons cos she never takes photos of those that turn out in inferior shapes and forms. As it is with most things, "Practice makes perfect! Applies to making cinnamon rolls, too! Lee Kai Qi's Blog.

Baking: Going Bananas
http://annabelchau.blogspot.com/2009/04/going-bananas.html
Sharing the fun stuff a mum and her gal can make out of baking. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Another frozen ripened fruit that is in abundance (in our freezer) is the good old banana. Tonight, two of them went into this moist banana cake. Mama got this recipe from a friend when we were staying in Melbourne. But ever since she tried this recipe, she never uses any other banana cake recipe. This has got to be the simplest, yummiest banana cake ever. Here it is . into one of her heart-shaped silicon pan :-).
