Saturday, August 31, 2013. We have been waiting. Counting down. Jon fills us girls in on stadium updates and every time we pass the screen on Montlake - the girls scream out, " Whose. The day finally came - I'm not kidding when I say I do not think Jon slept the night before. We went to a wedding Friday night and on the way home, I asked him what he thought of it (it was beautiful), but his response was, "I'm just too distracted about tomorrow to even think about that.". More summer concerts @uvillage.

Sunday, October 20, 2013. We headed out to Jubilee Farms for our annual pumpkin patch trip. The farm stepped it up this year with a few more activities, the most exciting being face painting (for the girls). Amazing what a difference a year makes - C did not love it last year - quite the opposite this year! We ran into Caroline's BFF right as we arrived - she loved it (she was just in shock here). Tuesday, October 29, 2013. I was able to volunteer at Hayden's class Halloween party again this year - loved seeing all the kids in their costumes and chatting it up with the mamas. The kids were lead through stations of decorating goodie bags, filling those bags, doing a popcorn craft, marshmallow game, decorating cookies and eating them! Tuesday, April 30, 2013. BAD photo, but Hayds and daddy went to her first movie in the theater - The Croods - has to be documented. She was in HEAVEN. So was he. Lots of treats and bonding. I loved all the photos he took of them - this one makes me giggle. A pic in the bathroom.:-). This outfit ok, ma? Proud of her haircut - her hair is. All the same length. Thursday, October 31, 2013. We headed to my parent's neighborhood, as usual, for candy-gathering. They get a gazillion kids, so its fun for everyone! Costume day at ballet! The chefs and their lobster pot/lobster. She was dropped off 20 minutes after they started."Hayds, what's wrong? I didn't want to get too much, mama - I don't want a bellyache." Hello, self-control. She LOVED handing candy out. Meanwhile, sissy was in the wagon shoveling as much candy in her mouth as possible before anyone noticed.

I was able to have Nana and Granddad come and hang with Caroline so I could volunteer at Hayden's class Halloween party. It was so fun - exactly how I remember it - lots of stations with bag decorating, cookie decorating, games, etc. The kids were so, so, so cute and I just LOVED being there.
