Faith, Hope and Love: The Art of Living Intentionally
http://findingfaithhopeandlove.blogspot.com/2015/01/the-art-of-living-intentionally.html
Sunday, January 18, 2015. The Art of Living Intentionally. Thinking about my #OneWord365 and I found this old blog draft that I never posted. It's still incomplete, but it makes me feel that much more excited that I chose intentional as my word! Since I've come back from India, I've felt the huge challenge of living an intentional life. I'm the classic, go-with-the-flow kind of girl, and while I don't think I've necessarily been simply a follower, I know I am more reactive. In my choices than proactive.

Wednesday, January 29, 2014. So let's catch up a bit. My last post was a bit all over the place. So let's start this new year right. Will I be blogging more? I can't say for sure. I know it's not like I have this amazing group of followers who are relying on me. I started this blog for myself as a way to commit to writing on a regular basis and sort of working out big changes in my life. I had just lost my job and felt lost as a person. So what's changed since the last time I blogged in 2013? 2013 was a ...

Friday, June 13, 2014. California Living: Kicking summer Off in Style. School got out at the end of May and the first chance I got I started my vacation off in style with a trip to CALIFORNIA! I had been to California once before. I was four and all I remember is going to Disneyland. And all I remember about Disneyland was a yellow submarine ride and being upset that Mary Poppins looked nothing like Julie Andrews (I mean, what four-year-old likes impostors? First Stop: Carlsbad/San Deigo, CA. The BART is...

Faith, Hope and Love: April 2014

Sunday, April 27, 2014. The God Who Sees. One thing I love to do is sing. I used to sing at church a lot. Growing up, and even helped lead our churches' children's and youth choirs at some point in life too. I was part of a choir in high school and in college. I sang all the time. I've never been bold. But all that is besides the point. Or at least not why I'm writing this blog. Today we had the chance to join with C.H.A.R.M. (a ministry that seeks to minister to those in prison) on a...When we started s...

Thursday, June 11, 2015. I've started to think about them often- Beatrice and Scovia. They are the two Esther Home Girls that are sponsored through IF: Gathering. And who I'll get to meet when I'm in Rwanda in July. I don't remember if I gave to the campaign that allowed their dreams to go to college possible, and so I've browsed through the small profiles/update we've been given. Hoping to come up with gifts that can bring with me. Maybe a scarf? Or a set of my favorite colored pens? What if I get sick?

Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Heading to Rwanda in the Summer! Dear Family and Friends,. In February, I participated in a women’s conference called IF: Gathering. The theme this year was all about faith—if God is real, then what? If I believe in His word, then what? If I trust that He is good, how do I respond? At the end of the week, we were asked to think about our “next step of faith” and offered different ways for us to actively live out our faith. PS The quote above? 8230; it was said by Brad Pitt.

Sunday, March 30, 2014. Yesterday was the Houston Public Media Regional Spelling Bee. And since I am my school's spelling bee coordinator and we had a student competitng, I got to be one of the guests. Call me a nerd, but can I just say that it was the coolest experiences ever? Or at least I did. Note to Self: Keep track of all words in future so. Your speller can also one day be a champion, or at least. The Top 5 for. Bee like all the. One of the co-champs' parents even had a computer and kept track of ...
