Friday, September 04, 2009. Baby Hat in Snowdrops Stitch. Knit with #5 dpns and TLC Baby Sport, should fit a newborn. Cast on 72 sts (16-20-16-20) and work 2 1/2" in k2p2 rib in the round. This pattern is a multiple of 6, and now you need to shift your stitches to (18-18-18-18). Rnds1-3 *p3, k3*. Rnd4 *p3, yo, (sl1, k2tog, psso) yo*. Knit in pattern until 5 1/2" from the beginning, begin decreasing after Rnd4. Rnd1 *p2, k2tog, k2*. Rnd2 *p2, k1, k2tog*. Rnd3 *p2, k2*. Rnd4 *p1, k2tog, k1*.

Thursday, August 31, 2006. Three new hats to enjoy. The periwinkle colored hat is from my second ball of Lion Brand Micro Spun. The baby green hat is from Cascade Cherub Collection, 4 ply, and the beautiful pink hat is also Cherub Collection, DK. The periwinkle hat is man or teen boy sized, with k1p1 ribbing for about 1 1/2" followed by plain k3p1 ribbing until the hat measured 5.5" from the beginning. The Micro Spun doesn't show the ribs well, but I feel k3p1 makes the hat fit better. SamplerM - Part 9.

I originally found Links of Lace in a sock pattern. While I didn't have to change it to knit in the round, I have had to devise my own decreases. I nv knew reading her blog would cause such pain for me. :(. But i guess i would want you to be happy. Especially after watching how u were when u were upset.
