Tattie Weasle: Bringing up Boys - The Art of Being Ill
http://tattieweasle.blogspot.com/2015/03/bringing-up-boys-art-of-being-ill.html
Chaotic amalgam of notes on the life and loves of a half Welsh 45 year old working mother of two in Suffolk UK! Monday, 16 March 2015. Bringing up Boys - The Art of Being Ill. Being very ill indeed. The art of being ill is hard one. You must not be SO ill that you cannot take advantage of it nor must you be to not ill enough that you have to go into school anyway. Don't forget to get picky with your food (preferably don't eat at all to begin with) refuse all our favourites with a sigh and say things like...

Today I shall ...: ..tell you about moi
http://procrastinatorextraodinaire.blogspot.com/p/tell-you-about-moi.html
Today I shall . Tell you about moi. Tell you about moi. I am a forty something teacher and mother of four boys. Started life in Wales, studied in England and then moved back and forth between Wales and England for twenty odd years whilst fitting in as many holidays to France that finances allowed. During this time I renovated 4 properties and sadly moved on pretty much as soon as each was completed. When I do get blogging again you may even get to see a bit more ;). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Dusty Traveller: Kyrgyz Taxi Driver Challenge
http://dusty-traveller-uk.blogspot.com/2008/02/kyrgyz-taxi-driver-challenge.html
My travel diary - an exploration of some parts of the world along the route of the ancient Silk Road - the historical link between east and west, which shaped so much of our current world. Thursday, 21 February 2008. Kyrgyz Taxi Driver Challenge. Whilst waiting for a car to take us form the bus station David began his odyssey of trying any and every local item of food and drink – some more successfully than others! Another horticultural fact that has been hushed up by Holland for decades is that Kyrgyzst...

Dusty Traveller: Kazakh Steppe en route to Bishkek
http://dusty-traveller-uk.blogspot.com/2008/02/kazakh-steppe-en-route-to-bishkek.html
My travel diary - an exploration of some parts of the world along the route of the ancient Silk Road - the historical link between east and west, which shaped so much of our current world. Wednesday, 20 February 2008. Kazakh Steppe en route to Bishkek. Food was reduced to ‘Something in Batter’ from a local stall and a bag of yummy (? We just couldn’t. 8221; at me as if their establishment was so exclusive I couldn’t possibly be allowed in! We wondered around feeling increasingly hopeless and considering ...

The Untamed Shrew: Nature
http://shrewuntamedagain.blogspot.com/2012/07/nature.html
Thursday, 19 July 2012. Don't know about you but I'm a bit depressed by the rain this summer. Nearly everything I like doing requires me to be outside (apart from drinking gin, reading and having a boogie - although these can be sun drenched activities too.) and being outside has meant one thing so far this summer - getting drenched. That's not drenched in a 50ShadesofPurpleProse sort of way, thats drenched in a "Went outside for 2 seconds can I please have a bath towel and a hairdryer now? Sort of a way.

The Untamed Shrew: November 2011
http://shrewuntamedagain.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, 14 November 2011. 5 Things You Didn't Know About Me Before (and probably didn't want to) . Chasing the meme that is 5 Things. I was amused to read Mostly Yummy Mummy's. Blogpost. While I can't lay claim to a cassette tape of JUST "Especially for You", I can come up with 5 facts for you to find uninteresting over your morning coffee. 1 I have twice signed the Official Secrets Act. Yes, I know how funny that is. 3 Favourite cake: Coffee and Walnut. Don't hate me. Ps Extra unwarranted fact:. It tran...

My travel diary - an exploration of some parts of the world along the route of the ancient Silk Road - the historical link between east and west, which shaped so much of our current world. Thursday, 21 February 2008. Such is the joy of living in a country where the vodka costs more than the mixers. After all that, we set off from Karakol on the long trip along the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul on a 2 day trip over the mountains to Osh. The 1st leg of the journey included David the Aussie, luckily ...

My travel diary - an exploration of some parts of the world along the route of the ancient Silk Road - the historical link between east and west, which shaped so much of our current world. Wednesday, 20 February 2008. There is more evidence of art and music in this city too, giving the impression that the people have the luxury to indulge in more cultural activities – even if they do remain in the shadow of the opium trade. Not only were the clothes terrifying – but the souvenirs on the top floor w...

Dusty Traveller: Going Native in the Hot Springs
http://dusty-traveller-uk.blogspot.com/2008/02/going-native-in-hot-springs.html
My travel diary - an exploration of some parts of the world along the route of the ancient Silk Road - the historical link between east and west, which shaped so much of our current world. Thursday, 21 February 2008. Going Native in the Hot Springs. We shivered our way through stripping off in the changing room, toes curling at the slimy mould on the bare floor, teeth chattering at the madness of stripping off below zero! Shortly, David appeared and took a little persuading that although he claimed to be...

TATTI FROM DA BLOG
TATTI FROM DA BLOG. All I’m asking is for a little respect (just a little bit)!
